Yes, the face is rather large. But I like it because the watch is extremely easy to see. The large numbers on the date display are great because I don't need my eyeglasses to read them. I am very pleased with this watch's looks, and it keeps excellent time. The band is very comfortable. I cannot think of a single bad thing to say about this watch.

Looks nice but has very big face, May 25, 2011

I actually returned this watch as it was much larger than I imagined from the picture. (I know, I should have checked the measurements.)
If you want a classic, big look or have trouble seeing, this watch will appeal to you.
