I purchased my Skagen Designs LTD. titanium, multifunction, analog, watch during our family vacation, July 30, 2009. One week after we returned from our vacation, August 8, 2009, the 4:00 indicator or marker fell off inside the watch. I called Skagen and they indicated that the watch would have to be shipped to their Reno, NV office at my expense. I shipped the watch back to them via FedEx on August 11, 2009. The watch was repaired and the packing slip/requested ship date was August 18, 2009.
I received the watch August 27, 2009. I wore it for one week when the 4:00 indicator fell off inside the watch, again, September 3. 2009. I called the Repair Supervisor in the Skagen repair department to discuss the issue. I asked that the watch be replaced and not repaired. They told me that replacement was not possible because the watch had been discontinued. The only option was to return the watch to Reno, NV for repair, again. I expressed that I did not have confidence in the Skagen repair department to adequately repair the watch. He assured me that when the watch arrived he would oversee the repair personally. It would be kept and observed after the repair to verify, then returned. I asked about shipping reimbursement and they indicated that Skagen could take care of that for me.
I wore the watch for a while because I had not yet had the opportunity to enjoy the memento of our special family vacation. I shipped the watch back, with shipping cost information for reimbursement, to their Reno, NV office via FedEx on October 9, 2009. The watch was shipped back and the packing slip/requested ship date was October 19, 2009. I received the watch October 28, 2009. When the package was opened I found the watch with the 4:00 indicator wedged tightly against the 2:00 indicator and not where it is supposed to be, similar to the way it was when I shipped it for repair. No shipping reimbursement.

I highly recommend not purchasing Skagen watch products.

Skagen finally replaced the watch in November 2009 after consulting with Disney representatives (I contacted Disney directly seeking resolution). No problems since.

Love the watch, love the look but I had hoped it would be a little more durable. I bought it because of what I read about titanium not looking scratched very easily, but the band looks just as scratched as all my other watches - maybe even faster. However on the bright side, the face has been much more scratch resistant.

All in all a nicely designed watch, wears nicely, looks nice, accurate. No real complaints just not as durable as I had been lead to believe it would be from various reviews I read.

What I've been looking for since my old Seiko broke, thin, light,good looking, and keeps excellent time.All the new affordable watches I looked at or purchased are to big and to heavy, it felt as though I was wearing a Volkswagen on my wrist. The Skagen was a great find at a great price on Amazon, the cost for the same watch was double at my local Dillard's.

After having sent back to replace cracked crystal twice skagen finally replaced the watch witch witch equal in price. I loved the watch but there was a design flaw causing a stress fracture of the crystal. Skagen did the right thing by replacing,would deal with again. 11/15/2011

I bought this watch for it's stelthy looks but after only 8 weeks it stopped. I figured it was the battery so I e-mail Skagen to get the correct size but they never responded. After installing a new battery it still dosen't work. I expected more! I suppose I will have to find a watch repair shop.

great watch for the price. i have had it for 4 months now and had no issues. titanium band is very light and great for everyday use. you can barely even feel it on your wrist because it is very slim and light. show the date, day, and hour of the day in each of the bezels. great feature for the price. the only complaint i have is that i wish it formed to the wrist better, because the band does not fall flat it curves around the wrist instead so there are spaces on each side between the wrist and the watch. otherwise it still is a great buy and great product.

The dial on this thing is just plain gorgeous. Looks much more expensive than it is. The pictures really don't do it justice. One very small complaint about the dial...and this is being very picky... the second hand doesn't quite line up with the tick marks. It lands just slightly bewtween two ticks instead of right on each one. Very minor point...most people probably wouldn't even notice. The crown sticks out a little farther than I would like. The band, however, is where the obvious cost cutting was done. The metal feels thin, and there is play between the links. The clasp feels cheap. The worst part is that the first three or four links on either side of the case are not flexible at all. Like, they barely move. We're talking almost fixed in place. This causes it to not fit quite right on my small wrist. Have a similar problem with my other Skagen with a mesh band. Someone with a bigger wrist may not have this problem. So, I don't love the band, but I LOVE the case and dial so much that I'll be keeping it.

I purchased this watch as an upgrade from another Skagen watch. The design of the dials and the watch band were major factors in deciding on buying this watch, and Amazon just happened to have the best price.

One thing that I would have liked to know before purchasing this watch is that the watch band scratches very easily. To be more clear, it looks like the watch band doesn't actually get a scratch, it's the finish that gets a mark on it. Within the first hour of wearing the watch, the clasp had already started rubbing part of the inside part of the watch band finish off so that the matte finish had a shiny spot. After a few days at work, the bottom part of the watch band also had shiny spots rubbed on it here and there.

The luminescent watch hands don't stay lit up for long, since they involve actually being exposed to light all day before night, and if you're hiding this watch in your shirt cuff all day, the hands won't light up. The luminescent parts of this watch are the watch hands (minute + hour), the hour markings, and the multifunction dials (but not the numbers in the dials, strangely...).

I would still recommend this watch, but it might be better to go for a different watch band or a different finish (if there's one available)

I received this watch as a Christmas gift, purchased from Amazon. It is a very nice looking watch, extremely lightweight. After owning it for just over 4 months, the watch face (crystal) cracked on me overnight as it sat on my bedside table. The crack is a semi-circular stress crack that goes across the near-center of the crystal. I have taken great care of this watch, and have never hit it against any surface.

I tried contacting Skagen customer support and their repair department several times via email asking them to repair the watch and waive the $25 fee to replace the crystal, as the crack is obviously due to poor quality in manufacturing. Almost a month later and I still have yet to receive any sort of reply.

I refuse to pay $25 + 8.95 S&H every 4 months to maintain this watch. I have not worn it since it broke, and am planning on replacing it with a watch from a different manufacturer.

Happy with the watch except it is only waterproof to 3 ATM when the website said it was good to 10 ATM. I specifically chose this model so I could swim with it on, so I was not impressed to find it is not fit for purpose.

I purchased this watch for my 30yr old son this Christmas. He had been looking for a new watch for some time and saw this watch on Amazon. We were unaware of the Skagen brand until we saw this one. He is so pleased with it and says it is the perfect combination of 'Masculinity and Elegance'. Say no more! Well done Skagen! As a family we have now purchased four Skagen watches.
