The dial on this thing is just plain gorgeous. Looks much more expensive than it is. The pictures really don't do it justice. One very small complaint about the dial...and this is being very picky... the second hand doesn't quite line up with the tick marks. It lands just slightly bewtween two ticks instead of right on each one. Very minor point...most people probably wouldn't even notice. The crown sticks out a little farther than I would like. The band, however, is where the obvious cost cutting was done. The metal feels thin, and there is play between the links. The clasp feels cheap. The worst part is that the first three or four links on either side of the case are not flexible at all. Like, they barely move. We're talking almost fixed in place. This causes it to not fit quite right on my small wrist. Have a similar problem with my other Skagen with a mesh band. Someone with a bigger wrist may not have this problem. So, I don't love the band, but I LOVE the case and dial so much that I'll be keeping it.

I really like the overall look of this watch, and its thinness. When I received it, I noticed a couple of flaws: 1) The second hand points directly at the points on the bezel at 12:00, but is then progressively off the mark, such that at :30 seconds, it points between points on the bezel, and at :45 it points one second ahead. 2) One of the pins in the clasp mechanism is short on one side of the band, so that the clasp could fall off the band if a moderate amount of force were applied to it. It probably won't be a problem when the clasp is fastened, but is annoying, nontheless. Finally, 3) The watch came with 2 sets of instructions, which had conflicting information on how to set the date--one said to turn the knob clockwise, and the other set said turn counter-clockwise. (Counter-clockwise is what works).

Well, after seeing this watch in an airport, I thought I'd check it out. I read the iffy reviews and decided to buy it anyway. The first thing I noticed was that the band scratched at the slightest contact with any surface, I wrote Skagen about this and never got a response. Next, the calendar dial is constantly obscured by the watch hands and needs to be reset after every 30 day month which is a real pain. Finally, the the crystal cracked without provocation as described in another review and when I checked the warranty, it's not covered. There ya have it, tonight I just threw a hundred bucks in the garbage can.

great watch for the price. i have had it for 4 months now and had no issues. titanium band is very light and great for everyday use. you can barely even feel it on your wrist because it is very slim and light. show the date, day, and hour of the day in each of the bezels. great feature for the price. the only complaint i have is that i wish it formed to the wrist better, because the band does not fall flat it curves around the wrist instead so there are spaces on each side between the wrist and the watch. otherwise it still is a great buy and great product.

I got this watch for my boyfriend for our anniversary. He is very hard on watches and I was weary of spending $[...]on a watch that I knew he would break. He absolutely loved the gift. It lasted him about a year (which, believe it or not is a good amount of time for him). Now, 2 years after him breaking that one, I saw the price of this and decided to get it for him again. I know he'll be very pleased when he sees it!

Looks great, but beware! Five months after purchasing, the glass just fell out while I was reaching for a magazine on an airline flight. I've done nothing rough with the watch, and the plane didn't depressurize. In fact, I have been especially gentle with this watch because it looks so good and I didn't want to get it scratched up. I now have to pay an $8.50 "warranty charge" in addition to registered shipping.

I purchased this watch for my 30yr old son this Christmas. He had been looking for a new watch for some time and saw this watch on Amazon. We were unaware of the Skagen brand until we saw this one. He is so pleased with it and says it is the perfect combination of 'Masculinity and Elegance'. Say no more! Well done Skagen! As a family we have now purchased four Skagen watches.

I bought this watch for it's stelthy looks but after only 8 weeks it stopped. I figured it was the battery so I e-mail Skagen to get the correct size but they never responded. After installing a new battery it still dosen't work. I expected more! I suppose I will have to find a watch repair shop.

I have several Skagen watches and have always found them to be extremely stylish and great value.

This watch is no exception, great quality, extremely sleek looking watch, very light Titanium strap.

The service fromt he seller too was first class.

Beautiful watch at a great price. Almost 50% off dept store price. The boyfriend picked out several that he liked. I went with this one because it looks both casual and professional. It is extremely light weight and much less bulky than most mens watches. Love it!
