This is the best watch I've owned since becoming an adult -- and I am in my 60s! I have metal-sensitive skin, so it has been near-impossible to find a watch that wasn't a plastic-rubber derivative that I could wear. Leather watch bands with metal buckles have even been a problem. I bought this Skagen first because its was titanium (which my skin is not sesnsitive to) and because it's very classy-looking. I was concerned about two things -- whether the snap buckle on the band was also titanium and whther the band could be shortened to fit my relatively small wrist. I should not have given either a second thought; links in the band were easily removed to fit my wrist, and I have had no problems with any semblance of a skin rash. This is one teriffic, great looking watch!

My husband loves it, but that's because I got it for him. But the clasp broke after a month of light wear. After sending it to manufacturer for repair that sent it back saying they no longer make this clasp and also charged us and we had to pay shipping for the broken watch! Needless to say I called and bitched and we got our money back. Luckily I was able to find a local jewerly who could mend it in house. It's wearable and looks very nice, but what a pain in the ass dealing with Skagen.

The Basics: Light weight and works well at keeping time.
Great: very slim design allows watch to slide underneath dress shirts.

Not so great: luminosity of hour and minute markers is very weak. Do not expect to use watch in complete darkness.

Looks like the watch Batman would wear. It's nice and slim but the face has good visibility. Extra links do have to be removed by a professional (or someone at a watch counter) as it requires a special tool. Skagen's have a nice style.

Glass face cracked twice. Not even abusing or shocking the watch. The warranty does not cover damage to the glass. Shortly after my watch came back the glass cracked again.

I really enjoy this watch so far. It's classy. I had to take it to a watch place to take out links though. You need a special tool :(.

Got this watch as a gift and it was excellent for almost 60 days! Light weight, swanky, low profile, everything I wanted. Then one night the watch face broke from internal pressure(wtf?), but it wasn't too bad so I just left it on hoping to get it replaced asap. Last night the face flaked razor shards in my sleep and cut the hell out of my face. Skagens response? I could send it in and get it fixed after five weeks but I'd have to pay shipping and they said it might just happen again. Buy this if you like facial scars and poor service.
