I ordered this watch from online and it is a beautiful watch. However, the band fits in such a way that it sticks out from my wrist because the watch itself is bigger then most and the way the band fits, it is too big for my wrist, the band has little flesibility where attached to the watch. However, it looks so good, I am keeping it but BEWARE of this problem when ordering the watch.

Ordered this watch after months of searching for a better price. Found it on sale and after my heavy Elgin died I had to make a purchase. I always admired a friend's Skagen stainless steel watch. Date window is too small for me to see very well but aside from that it's a great watch, good looking, light weight, and a watch I hope I'll have for a long time.

9/14/2011 Sorry I could not rate this watch less than 1 star because there is no negative option here. Anyways please do not buy this watch because the band color fades away exactly after the allowable return period and when i called the amazon watches department they said there is no warranty for the band color I am very unhappy with this product because i bought this as a gift for my dad and he is not happy either

Beautiful, but affordable watch. Slick, modern design along with excellent craftsmanship. This is my third Skagen and I have not been disappointed yet. Amazon has it at the right price.

The watch was received promptly and is just beautiful.
I have had probably 4 watches in 70 years and this is
the best I have ever owned including rolex, bulovia,etc.

If you like subtle beauty, as opposed to the huge wristwatches currently in favor but sure to pass, then this slender watch is excellent at half the price in a department store. But: the clasp mechanism is not simple, the luminous hands are difficult to see in the dark and their subtlty takes time to read when available light is dim. Yet for a dress-up situation this golden beauty is a great bargain at the price. (We like Amazon and gave three Amazon gift cards to our children for Xmas.)

This is the third behind the leather band, and silver tone band Skagen watches. This one says it all. I am here, I am someone, and I feel good about just being. Nicely gaining attention it just opens doors for people to wonder who you are and what you have done or could do!! For any occasion but especially when you feel important on your own, and then you can wear to the movies and no one can see it but you, but YOU know what your wearing on your arm.

It looks cheap and not meant to be a good gift for some business partners. even lower rank employee.
It is not good for a mature man

The watch is very, very beautiful and one which can be treasured as a special gift. I am extremely happy with it!

Was very thing and professional in appearance. It has a good locking clasp and keeps great timing. The meal mess feels great on the skin and does not damamge clothing.
