I purchased this watch for my husband, and am a little disappointed in this one. First, the watch is very heavy and bulky, something Skagen is not known for. Secondly, getting the links out of the band was just about the hardest thing I have ever done. It took a lot of effort, tools and screaming to get this done.

Nice watch. Very cool looking. Skagen quality. Keeps good time so far.

I have unfortunately small wrists (sometimes even the smallest hole on a leather band watch is too big) and this one adjusted easily down to a good fit.

Amazing that I can't even hear the watch tick no matter how closely I put it to my ear. How do they do that?

I haven't tested it's water proof claims yet, but it does fine with casual water splashes.

Only negative - and this is one I knew before I bought just by looking at the pics - is that the date is difficult to read when the dial is pointing at one of the numbers farthest away (i.e. 2, 3, 4 and 11, 12 13).

I have always liked Skagen for their styling (since about 1996), and the quality has always been acceptable.

It's a nice solid watch, well designed. The watch has a modern look without a bunch of dials thatI really don't need. The separate day/date dials are quite clever, but a little too small for my eyes.
