A BEAUTIFUL WATCH WHICH I SAW ADVERTISED HERE IN AUSTRALIA FOR $199! WHEN I SEARCHED FOR IT ON AMAZON I WAS DELIGHTED BY THE PRICE AND THEN WHEN IT ARRIVED I FELL IN LOVE WITH IT STRAIGHTAWAY! SO ELEGANTLY SIMPLE AND YET SUCH A LOVELY CLEAR DIAL.MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS THAT IT IS A LITTLE TRICKY TO DO UP AND I'M AFRAID I MIGHT LOSE IT ONE DAY IF I INADVERTENTLY FAIL TO CLICK IT ON PROPERLY. HOWEVER, THIS WOULD NOT HAVE DETERRED ME FROM BUYING IT AND HOPEFULLY, I'LL BE WEARING IT FOR YEARS TO COME!

I think I researched nearly every Skagen watch before I finally decided on this one. I wanted a two-tone Skagen for its simple design, easy-to-read face, and low profile. I wasn't so sure about the mesh band, after reading a lot of critical reviews about difficulty figuring it out, sizing it, and keeping it securely fastened. I have to say the instruction booklet left out a few key points, so it took longer than it should have to figure out how to make the band smaller and then lock it properly. The one time I didn't lock it correctly, I almost lost the watch--a problem several reviewers reported with this particular clasp design. However, if you study the clasp and how it works, it becomes easier to fasten the watch securely. Sizing the band is another hurdle, but reading the directions helps. Once the band is adjusted for size, the clever clasp locks it into place. This is a good, practical timepiece that goes anywhere, and an excellent value overall. Would I buy this one again? I'm not sure that I like it that much, which is why I gave it four stars rather than five.

I got this watch because I loved the mesh band and the gold and silver mixed together. Although its missing a second hand like most Skagens, I wear it all the time. It's especially nice to wear on more formal occasions.

I've had several Skagen watches over the years bur then read several reviews that said they hadn't kept time accurately. This one, along with my previous ones, keeps tome perfectly (except when I accidentally pull out the time setting button). I love the two tones on this watch. It gives it an elegant look and make it very easy to read.

i recently purchased this skagen watch and i love it. it is extremely comfortable, easy to put on and easy to read. it took a couple minutes to figure out the latch but it's really very easy.

I needed a new watch and noticed this one. I love it, it's thin, fits perfectly and the face is big enough to read the time. I think I'm going to order my husband one.

I love Skagen watches! The slim profile, the stainless steel band, the timeless design. I had my last Skagen for 15 or more years; had to get another! The two-tone looks good near either silvertone or goldtone jewelry. No second hand, but I figure the rest balances it out.

This watch was bought as a Christmas present for my wife. She says it is a classy looking watch that is not too ornate as many watches she has looked at. She does have a very small wrist and the case is not to large as many she has looked at. The one complaint she has is that the watch band is too long and double wraps to far around her wrist. I am going to try to find a jeweler who can hopefully successfully cut 1 1/4 inches off of the mesh band and somehow finish the cut edge of the band so that will no longer be an issue in wearing the watch. Also the clasp is a little difficult to use but she will probably get used to that over time.
