I love this watch! It has a very low profile, and looks very, very elegant. The crystals shine and sparkle. The mesh band is also wonderful--very comfortable.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because once while washing my hands I splashed water on it and condensation formed under the glass. It went away after a day, but I have to question the water resistance level. Now I just take it off when washing something or near water.

This is a nice looking watch and very flat against the wrist. I like the style and size. It is not, however, water resistant as Amazon's decsription leads you to believe.

After normal wear (doing dishes, in the shower, etc.) water started to pool behind the face. I called the manufacturer and learned that this watch is NOT water resistant AT ALL. They don't reccommend getting it anywhere near water. Before buying a Skagen watch, you should check Skagen's website to learn its actual water resistance.

To Amazon's credit, they replaced the wet watch and paid for the shipping to send the old one back since it was their mistake to advertise it as water resistant to 100 meters. They have not, however, changed the description on the site.

this is the best watch if you consider following things:
1. Looks: the color of dial and the feeling of dial on hands is really beautiful.
2. Size and thickness: If you search for slim watches, skagen will be your first and final choice.
3. Mesh Band: This type of band is the speciality of skagen. its un-comparable.
4. Price: Considering the price for overall quality this watch is really affordable.

The watch came beautifully packaged and the design is sleek and slim. It is very lightweight and the face is easy to read. I would buy another watch from this manufacturer.

Pros: It's gorgeous. Silver face and silver mesh band goes with anything. Looks much more expensive than it is. Beautiful, sparkly round diamond-like chips for the numbers. Lays flat against the wrist - not bulky and very comfortable. Easily adjustable band. Keeps good time.

Cons: No deal-breakers here, just things you might want to know ~ Not waterproof so you can't wear it in the shower. I have long hair and every once in a while it will catch in the mesh band. And no date display, if that's important to you.

I bought this watch as a more professional piece of jewelry to wear to work. I am impressed. The face of the watch is clean -- not cluttered looking with dates, times in foriegn countries, etc. The only thing I might miss is the indiglo option on my old watch, but I'm willing to sacrifice it for the sophistication of this one. It keeps time perfectly and compliments any outfit.

I'd been eyeing a Skagen watch for sometime, and finally decided on this simple silver model, and I love it! If you're looking for a well-made, professional, stylish watch that you can actually read the time on (this is why I hate fashion watches), you'll be very happy with this watch. Also, it's got an adjustable band, so you get an instant, perfect fit. I highly recommend this product.

I have some very expensive watches but they just are not comfortable to wear or they are too small and hard to see. This watch is every bit as nice as my $300 watches and looks nearly as nice as some of my way more expensive watches. It's not the thinnest watch I have, but it is quite thin and very comfortable to wear. It's easy to adjust and to put on, all by yourself. It's nice enough to wear as a dressy watch, but being stainless, it should be sturdy enough to wear every day. Mine is new so I don't have any long term experience with it, though I've read a lot of good things about this manufacture. I'm very please with my purchase, even though it did take a long while to get it, nearly a month because of backorder.
UPDATE: I've been wearing this watch 24/7 for weeks now. It is in perfect condition, not a scratch on it. I wear it in the shower, bathing the baby, sleeping, dressing; it's comfortable, doesn't catch on everything, keeps good time and is really nice looking. I get a lot of nice comments on the watch. It was a good buy.
UPUPDATE: It's now nearly a year that I've been wearing this watch 24/7 and not a nic or scratch. I can't believe the price now. I'm tempted to buy a bunch for gifts. People think this watch costs me hundreds of dollars. It is a GREAT buy.

Bought this for my Wife for Christmas 2005. It looks very nice more than I paid for it actually. For what it cost I say its a very good watch. My Wife loves it. She loves the fact it looks good with her Business suits or her weekend t-shirt and Jeans attire. Very multi functional. Construction of the watch looks good and the acrylic box it came in looks fancy.

I received this watch as a Christams present and am very happy with it. It is simple yet elegant at the same time. The workmanship is great and the limited lifetime warranty is very good as well.
