From School Library Journal
Grade 5–10—Following a history of the sport, three chapters focus on basic, intermediate, and advanced tricks. The book includes step-by-step directions and color photographs (though lamentably few of feet placement), related tips, and a chapter on the parts of the board and additional tools. The directions, however, are written in skateboarder lingo, making it hard for beginners to follow. Still, children and young adults will appreciate the chance to learn the secrets of professional moves.—
