Black Ice Skaters,
By Deborah Strayhand (Carson, CA USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Skates of Uncle Richard (Paperback)
If you are like me you have never seen a book about black ice skaters even though I love to skate. Well this book is it. It is just the simple story of a little girl who longs to skate and finds out how well her Uncle Richard can ice skate and he teaches her everything he knows. For all of those who love to ice skate or love to watch skating, this is a very charming book. It's nice to see a book about other African-Americans who ice skate. I am not alone.
