I bought these shoes locally & on a whim. I am so happy that I did because I wear them almost daily.

Although some may consider these shoes to be slippers, I use them as outside shoes. Over the course of 3 months -- in winter snow, ice & other wet weather -- they are holding up to outside elements (I did not wear them in deep snow - only when there 1/4" or less) and not falling apart.

The shoes are also super comfortable and mold to your feet. They do not get too hot and, while I can easily slip my feet in & out of the shoe, they stay on my feet when walking. I wear them with all different types of socks - thin & thick.

They are OK in the arch-support department - some arch support, but not a lot. If you require a lot of arch support, you may want to take a pass.

Cleaning seems relatively easy. I have had to clean mud spots & just used a damp cloth. I have not dealt with a stain, but mine are a dark color.

Size: I normally wear an 8-1/2. I tried an 8-1/2 in the store & it seemed a little small, so I went with a 9 (because of socks).

Overall, the online pricing seems fairly comparable to local pricing, especially taking taxes into consideration.

2/25/11: almost through another winter & these shoes are still going strong. The only thing that I'd change is to not put the furry band on the top of the shoe so that they would be more shoe-like. However, that doesn't stop me from wearing them outside (& everywhere).

I love these shoes, they're like wearing my slippers! I work hard on my feet all day and it's wonderful to come home to these! I bought a 7.5 which is a half size larger than I normally wear. They're perfect with the merino wool socks I wear in the winter! I bought a second pair for when these wear out! Highly recommended!

I bought these in black and loved them so much I purchased them in the Natural color. They are so comfortable and warm. I would highly recommend these.

Love these shoes! They're very warm, have a good tread on them, and a pretty thick sole. Though they look a lot like slippers, they work great as shoes. I wear them (in the charcoal color) everywhere, and have gotten several nice comments from strangers.

The inside is lined in faux fur, which is very cozy and keeps your feet warm. It does wear out after a while, but even so, the shoes are still wearable - just not as soft.

The cable knit is a really nice touch - a little different than the suede you usually find similar styles of shoes in.

I've had these well over a year and they are still in great shape.

I was worried that the knit would snag, but it hasn't.

I admit, I wear this sort of shoe most often with no socks. And, last fall when these shoes were about 6 months old, we were getting ready to move and I wore them EVERY single day, with no socks while packing up, moving, unpacking, etc. They took a lot of abuse and still held up really well. (They were sweaty - yuck - but I washed/dried them on low and let them finish air drying and they turned out fine.)

A year later, they are still holding up great, and I wear them often. I am going to buy another pair in another color.

They are pretty true to size - I usually wear a 9.5 or (somewhat more often) a 10 and a 10 in these fits perfectly, with a thin sock or no sock.

Shoe is ok, dont give your feet much breathing room and run very small get a 1/2 to a size bigger if you want them. they are cute though

These are the most comfortable and warm shoes I own. I live in Michigan and the winters are really cold. My toes havent been cold yet.

I bought the Skechers a few months back and I love them. They have a great sole so that they can be worn outside as well as inside. They are very classy looking. They don't slip off the foot so walking is a breeze. I will buy additional pairs when these wear out which won't be for some time yet. I'm temporarily handicapped so I wear them day and night.

I wanted slippers that I could wear while walking my dogs in the morning so my husband got me these as a gift. They are comfy and are great for outdoor wear. I have even forgotten I was wearing them and wore them out to dinner a couple times!

I just got these Sketcher mules & was so bummed at the smallness!
Yes, I had read that they run small; I ordered a full size larger
and my heels still hung out. GEESH. I'm sending them back for a re=
fund, but I get to pay shipping. Back to the stores for me. Lesson
learned.

i was very disappointed when these arrived..they run VERY small. they are cute and sturdy but really run small. half my heel was hanging out the back.i would recommend buy 1 size bigger.
