I needed a new pair of sunglasses that actually blocked out the
sun. The pair I had looked "modern" but did next-to-nothing for
blocking sunlight.

Not only do these aviators block out the sun from irritating your
eyes, they look aesthetically pleasing. These sunglasses are one of
those items that you could say are "functionally fashionable".
