These shoes are very comfortable and lightweight for summer. They slip on easy. The material frays but I believe it is designed to. However, if you do not like small strings hanging off your shoes, you might want to go with one of the other almost identical Skechers shoes that does not have "Jersey" in the name.

I have these shoes in every color I could find. Except for in cold weather, I am always wearing them. They work with shorts, skirts, and jeans. They are great as slippers inside the house. I wore them exploring a cave where I had to walk ankle-deep in a stream. They kept my grip on the slippery footing, but I was afraid they'd be ruined after getting wet. Not so! They fit even better after they dried and still looked great.

These shoes were everythingg I expected. I wouldn't recommend walking in them all day but for just walking around, shopping and such they serve the purpose very well.
