I bought my first pair of MBTs a few months ago to wear to work and on weekends. Then I bought another pair of MBTs. Then I bought a pair of Sketchers Shape-Ups for weekends. The Sketchers are much more comfortable and seem like they will last much longer than the MBTs, and they are not nearly as ugly. On my first pair of MBTs, the elastic that connects the leather straps over my arch to the side of the shoe is fraying and coming apart. The second pair of MBTs, while the same size as the first pair, are much too small in the toe area, especially on the right foot. I am in pain if I wear those for too long. The Sketchers are extremely comfortable.

People have remarked that my posture improves immediately when I put on the MBTs or Sketchers, and that I seem younger when I wear them. I already loved to walk, but I can walk much farther in the Sketchers without any kind of foot pain. It seems I get less fatigued walking in Sketchers than my normal tennis shoes. I am losing weight in my thighs, butt, and lower abdomen. I am almost down a pants size. However, I have started eating Fucoprotein bars for breakfast when I am at work, so that might also be part of the reason for the weight loss.

I love the Shape-Up products and the shoes really have helped my foot and back pain. The problem is with the sizing. This style was way too small for the stated size, so I had to return the shoes. The Shape-Up shoes are really wonderful, but it is frustrating to not be able to trust sizing from one style to the next. My first pair of Shape-Ups fit very well in a size 9, but the size 9 in this style was way too short. Because of the great return policy with Amazon purchases, I was not charged for the return shipping and was given a full refund. Since the shoes are back in stock, I have reordered.

I purchased the Sketchers Woman's Shape ups because I knew what a great product this was. Was unable to purchase in a retail store due to great demand and was not able to purchase.

I went on line with Amazon and purchased the shoe and the shoes arrived in a matter of a few days. To my great delight I was able to wear to work and shoes fit perfectly.

If you are having trouble with walking or legs/hips hurt this shoe should help tremendously. This was my second pair and they can be therapeutic.

I will continue to buy products and use Amazon in the future

I have been wearing these shoes for a week now and I can't believe how great my feet feel in them! I suffer from plantar fascitis and could barely walk in my regular sneakers.
These are the only thing that relieve the pain. I wear them all day while I am in the house or when I have long shopping trips. Not the most fashionable shoes on the market, but
provide incredible comfort. You need to order a size bigger as they do run small. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone who suffers from heel/foot pain, or anyone who
has to be on their feet for an extended period of time. I think the MBT's are too expensive and the Sketchers are a great alternative.

I am a nurse on my feet for 11 hour shifts. My feet and akles don't hurt at the end of the day like they used to and I can feel the difference when I go for long walks.

I am so happy with my Sketchers Shape-ups- Fitness Junkie walking shoes. They are undoubtly the most comfortable walking shoes I have ever purchased. The cushion sole is wonderful, it is like walking on air. I highly recommend this shoe. They do run small so order one size up.

I've been a fan of Skechers for years, but wasn't quite sure what to make of the Shape Ups...were they just a gimmick or what? I went to try them on at a retail store and the color I wanted wasn't available, so I ordered through Amazon. I'm so glad I did!

The shoes are super comfortable - they are heavier than most sneakers, and also a few inches thicker (that's fine with me since, at 5'3", I'll take the extra height). I haven't been wearing them long enough to notice any weight loss, but they got me excited about walking again. My lower back used to bother me when walking on the treadmill, even for a few minutes, and I think these shoes have helped that. I can definitely feel my leg muscles working when wearing these shoes.

Might not be so great if you have weak ankles...the slight feeling of instability takes a little getting used to (kind of like walking on sand or a soft surface as the advertisements say), but if you love to walk, try these out!

I got these in the mail day before yesterday, but today was the first time I had a chance to get them out to use them. They are well made. I wore them most of the day .... contrary to recommendations in the booklet, and I'll probably be a little stiff tomorrow, but I have no regrets! They were surprisingly comfortable the entire time I wore them. It's almost like they were custom fit for me because I didn't get the slightest feeling of chaffing which I usually get with a lot of new shoes, even athletic ones. No blisters! A lot of reviewers wrote they run small so they bought a half size larger then they usually wear, I did the same and they fit PERFECT. Here it is the end of the day ... my legs feel a slight burning feeling like they would if I had a good work out. I'm jazzed. :) I'm going to ask my 23 year old daughter if she wants some .. I think she'd like them too, so I would get her some. I did not have to get used to walking in them, it came quite natural. I'll probably collect a few more pairs in different styles. I highly recommend them!

THe shoes are very comfortable and are not at all hard to walk in...I walk 8 miles a day and I instantly felt the difference in my legs and bum...it feels good to know i am amking a difference in my body as i am walking and these shoes do indeed do what they tell you they do...I highly recommend these shoes..they do look kinda funny kinda like orthopedic runners but whatevs...they do the job

These shoes do give you a good leg workout. Going up hills is alot harder! Cheapest place to purchase these is Amazon.
