I want to hug the living heck out of the genius who perfected this technology. I've had my eye on the "Fit Flops" that I would see in the Victoria's Secret catalog for a while and wondered if they did what they claimed to do, but there was no way I'd ever spend $60 on a pair of flip flops...Not even if they were MAGIC flip flops.

I decided to finally buy these Sketchers on Cyber-Monday because Amazon was discounting these shoes by $25 and because sketchers have always treated me well comfort-wise. Well, I just took them out on their maiden-voyage to the gym and I could hardly believe what I was experiencing! I am a 30-yr old woman with arthritis, a knee that doesn't track properly, and fibromyalgia up the yin yang, due to having been hit by a car as a pedestrian 9 yrs ago. I can't even walk slow on the treadmill without my knee getting all out of whack. So, all I can really do for exercise on the daily is the eliptical machine, swimming and yoga, which I admit is tough for me to motivate myself to do (and all of you with fibromyalgia know what I mean!)

I'm telling you, my abs were on freakin fire! Anyone with arthritis or any other joint-issues MUST get this shoe. It does what it claims to so and then some! When I'm standing still, it feels like all my weight is off my heels and balls of my feet and concentrated in the middle of the arch, which happens to be full of cushy foam and air. You don't have to try and do anything different, your body will adjust immediately and your core can't help but engage. Much better than those crazy disgusting electrocution belts, but just as effortless.

I seriously believe that these shoes will change my life! Like I said, anyone with a joint condition will appreciate these shoes more than people without any chronic pain could possibly understand.

The only thing that confuses me is the differences among the different styles. I happened to get the "Optimize" just because it seems best to be optimal. I couldn't find any info on this issue, so it's a good thing I love my super-optimal shoes!

These are the best shoes I have ever bought. They are the most comfortable shoes I own. The first time I put them on they did not feel like "new shoes". I have
arthritis in my low back and both knees. These shoes help ease some of the pain. I wear them every day. I own a pair of the expensive walking shoes and these
feel much better. They are simply wonderful for me. I will order another pair in another color. I highly recommend them.

My step daughter introduced me to a pair of Skechers women's shoes. I am super satisfied with the shoes and they are very comfortable to wear. I would definitly
reccomend the shoes to my friends.

I had a terrible ankle break a few years back. After a grueling year of misdiagnoses, surgeries, and recovery I had terrible pain. I used to walk all the time, but after the accident I could only walk maybe once a week and then spend the rest of the week gimping around in pain. Even after three years, I still limped my way out of bed every morning.
I had read that these shoes may help with joint pain, so I was willing to try. I bought these shoes almost a year ago and OMG.....they are amazing!!!! I can walk and walk and walk...and guess what...no stiff joint pain later in the day or the next morning!! I will say they definitely do work your calves. It would make sense since you are pretty much rocking on them or stabilizing yourself.
I am planning on buying some additional pairs and trying their sandals as well. I am totally sold! The price is nothing compared to what they have given me! :)

I love the New Skechers Shape Ups. They are comfortable and help my posture. They are also very bouncey. I have more energy too.

I walk my dog every day and these Shape Ups make it much more comfortable. Being a senior I didn't think I could shape up my posterior but I was wrong. I see much improvement. I took a long walk with my great-grandson and he complained that his feet hurt. Well, mine didn't and I told him he needed Sketchers. Highly recommended by me.

as a kid i believed the ads that told me i could run faster and jump higher if i wore PF Flyers. sadly, these shoes are no better at increasing the effectiveness of walking than PF Flyers were at making me the athletic star of the neighborhood.

on the good side, these shoes are very comfortable. however, even with my orthotics, my ankles tend to roll in (more than with other shoes).

I have been looking at the Shape Up for more than a year but just didn't want to pay $120. I noticed the prices coming down throughout the year, then found them on Amazon.com for $80. I am so glad I have finally experienced this product. The style, shape and fit are so different from any other shoe I have ever worn. It took less than one hour of walking to become totally comfortable. I could feel muscles up the back of my legs getting a work out within the first 10 minutes of my walk. The shoe delivers on what is advertised and I couldn't be more pleased.

This is the most comfortable walking shoe I have ever worn. I cannot say if it really shapes or helps lose weight, just walking more would do that but I can literally wear them walking all day. The buff suede I got looks great with jeans. Dressier than regular tennis shoes. The price I paid was also $20.00 less then anywhere else I looked so I feel I got an amazing deal. Love these shoes!!
