I have several pairs of Shape Ups by Skechers. I was not impressed by these. The velcro strap does not stay fastened. Many times a day I had to bend down and refasten the straps. Otherwise it had the comfort that Shape Ups are noted for.

It's taking a little while to get used to the rocking forward & backward motion; but I like it. A suggestion; can they be made a little lighter in weight and more "airy" for our hot weather climates? Next time I would order "wide" too because of the closed toe and my foot problems.

i read several reviews that said these sneakers were excellent for people with knee or ankle problems and having arthritis in both areas, i thought they might help me. i found that i could walk with more vigor and much less pain when i wore them. i'm planning a trip to england and paris this fall and was concerned that i would be in too much pain to truly enjoy this trip. now i feel comfortable that with my 2 pairs of skechers shape-ups, i'll be fine. walking for long periods isn't painful at all and i have felt muscle tone increase since i have had them. they have made a big difference for me. my only complaint (and a small one at that) is that a size 8.5 is exactly that - a touch tight until you wear them in a bit if you are between an 8.5 and a 9 (the size 9 was just a tad too big). after breaking them in, i highly recommend them! walking thru london and paris will be a breeze now!

I suffer from plantar fasciitis. These shoes are wonderful, and allow me to be on my feet for longer periods of time. If I wear another pair of shoes that are not shape-ups, my feet ache.

I would like these more if the velcro was more reliable. It doesn't stick properly. I've tripped countless times while wearing these at work and its the reason I don't wear them anymore.

This is my third pair of Shape-ups Mary Jane style and I cannot say
enough positive things about these shoes. I have had bunion surgery
on my right foot. The moment I put this style of shoes on, there was
a shift of pressure to the heel of my foot. I did not need any
break-in time. I immediately felt relief. I also noticed that I
could wear them all day and have much less swelling by
night. My feet have considerable arthritis throughout and these
shoes help me to keep mobile. I got these last ones on sale and
was extremely surprised how soon I received my order. At a recent
convention I was asked by some where I got such comfortable looking
shoes and I was happy to refer them to the website. I was envied
because I was so comfortable in my shoes.

These were a gift and the recipient loves them. She has a pair of Skechers sneakers and wanted something a little more dressy. These are dressy but can also be worn with pants and /or casual clothes. They fit looser and don't quite have as much support as the sneakers but are a pleasant change for the feet and still getting my "shape-up."

O well I have to be honest. I bought this shoes because I needed shoes that I can use without stockings... and it's obviously isn't the case xD. But anyway, the shoe is just fine, is beautifull and I can use it anyway!!!

I bought my first pair of Skechers when I heard all the hype about tightening your buns. I don't think any of that really happens, but they are very comfortable, especially when you have to stand for long periods. I have 3 pair now.

The first pair I bought were black, lace up. Now one of them leaks if it's at all wet outside. I live in the Northwest near the ocean and it rains a lot here so I have to wear them out in the rain and on wet, puddled streets. The sole has released from the foam buildup cushion around the edge and that seems to allow the moisture to penetrate. I haven't noticed the sole releasing from the other 2 pair so it may be one faulty shoe. I've had the first pair about a year and, between the 3 pair, these are the only shoes I wear now.

I ordered a pair of the Mary Janes and had to send them back as they didn't fit me well. I like the lace up and I have one pair that are slip on with a different sole design - one for non skid surfaces like working in a restaurant or similar. The slip on pair are my favorite as they are dressy looking with jeans or pants.

Bought these shoes because I'm on my feet 12+ hours on my shifts... they are so comfy not to mention stylish!
