I own this pair of sneakers. I didn't buy them on amazon, but I bought a pair of the work mary-janes. The mary janes are extremely ugly, but they, like the sneakers, do exactly what they're advertized to do: help you shape up! & yes, like the previous reviewer stated, they are expensive, but they're worth the money. Who would've thought that SKECHERS would've come up with such a wonder?! I had bought a pair of shoes a couple of years ago, that did the same thing for twice the price & were twice as ugly as the mary janes! The sneakers are so comfy, I had to buy the mary jane's because we're really not supposed to wear sneakers at work & mine are the really pretty grey/turquoise color. another colleague has the black/dark blue, which I'm going to buy as well. When you walk in these shoes (following their directions), you exercise all your leg muscles & your glutes as well. I'm very satisfied with my shoes (except for the ugly part, which can't be helped - but they WORK)!

A wonderful shoe great fit and by far the most comfortable shoe ever. No pain in my feet,knee's or back when I walk. I highly recommend these shoes to everyone.

I am a nurse and spend a good portion of the day on my feet. Also, having fibromyalgia, I have a lot of chronic joint pain, and I thought that the good support might alleviate some of the knee pain and stiffness which I experience on a daily basis. I have been studying the reviews on the shape ups for several months now, but was a little skeptical that a shoe could actually make such a difference in your comfort level. Boy, was I wrong! These shoes rock!!! I have noticed a tremendous improvement in my joint pain since wearing Skecher Shape Ups. Not only do they provide a cushioned insole and kinetic wedge to promote comfort; they also encourage correct posture, which is a definite plus when trying to alleviate chronic back pain. Order these shoes and I promise you won't be sorry. I especially like the breathable mesh inserts which prevent your feet from sweating when wearing for extended periods. Kudos to Skechers for this most comfortable line of shoes! I look forward to more fashionable styles for the upcoming Fall season.

so far the best shoes for me in terms of comfort... have chronic Achilles tendinitis, and had been very picky with shoes, but this one helps put the strain on my calf muscles on hold because of its rocker bottom effect...

This was a gift for my 24 year old daughter. She said they are very comfy and she can feel them working her leg muscles. They look nice too!

I have a common foot problem: plantar fasciitis. The shoes and inserts recommended by the podiatrist did not solve the problem. The pain was still uncomfortable. The Skechers Shape Up Sneaker are extremely comfortable and lessen the pain to a livable level.
