3.0 out of 5 stars Will appease a knitting bug, December 31, 2009

This review is from: 10 Skeins Thick Thin Bamboo Fiber/Wool Yarn, Bulky, 100g/skein (Office Product)
You can tell as soon as you take this yarn out of the package that it's not great quality. It has fluff balls coming off, the thin strand of wool that wraps around the bamboo is broken in places. I started a roll and found two ends knotted within the first 18 inches. It's made in China, rather than spun at some local mill.

However, this is a great priced yarn. It's soft, easy to knit and beautiful when knit. And for the price, it definitely beats working with acrylic or other synthetic fibers. So if you have a bug to knit cheaply and an aversion to acrylic (like I do), I would recommend you try it out.
