This review is from: Skeletal Muscle Structure and Function: Implications for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (Paperback)
This is a very well written text that covers the basics of muscle physiology. It is in-depth enough for graduate students yet clearly written enough for a person with a minimal physiology background to understand.

This review is from: Skeletal Muscle Structure and Function: Implications for Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine (Paperback)
The book contains a large breadth of information on muscles. It is written in a manner that is easy to understand and covers a range of topics that would be of interest to people of a variety of backgrounds. Information is still relatively up to date since not much new knowledge has been discovered in the last 20 years.
