Another insane effort by two of society's most depraved icons, Buckethead on axework/shredding and Bill Moseley on words/rants/tirades (you couldn't call it singing), aided and abetted by Pinchface (he of highly questionable timing) on drums. The twisted twosome have conjured up another cd that exemplifies why they both need to be institutionalized immediately for their own safety as well as that of those around them.
The music is reminiscent of Bucket's 'Deli Creeps' band back in the late 90's, and the words/lyrics are exactly like a monologue from one of Moseley's film characters, and about as subtle. There's more variation within the music than say, 'Donkey Town' of 'Brain Circus', but if you're familiar with any of their work, it's all pretty much more of the same. Deeply disturbed diatribes and distorted, demanding guitarwork are the elements fused and thrusted at the listener, who needs to be somewhat of like mind to fully appreciate this lunacy. For Bill and Bucket, every day is Halloween, and this is the soundtrack to the landscape they inhabit, and they've invited us over for a few beers and possible dismemberment - wanna tag along?

the best disc, November 12, 2007

it's basically bill moseley from movies "the devil's rejects" and "house of 1,000 corpses" singing over buckethead's guitar and pinchface's drums! supposedly bill did all the vocals in one take each!
