Solid album,

They've calmed down a lot since their debut album- I'm sure the death of Casey had something to do with it. Their sound is different without a screamer. There's a very small bit of screaming in End of the Underground, but most of it is pretty relaxed. The first time I listened to it, I almost quickly dismissed it but after a few more listens I really liked it. Pretty much every song is excellent and the album as a whole closes very smoothly with Boy. It's a solid album from start to finish. I'd highly recommend it.

I'm a HUGE fan of HH, and have been for a few years now. the song "Bring you Back" is brilliant and heartful, because of what and who it's about. We all miss Casey, and alway will. I looked for days in stores for this album before giving in and getting it online.
RIP Casey Calvert, Nov. 24, 2007

I follow HH on all social networking sites I belong to, so I was all about June 1st when this product was up for sale. I own every album they have ever made and none of their CDs have ever disappointed me yet -- including this one. Rock on Hawthorne Heights!! :D

sounds really good! their back to their old sound with the exception of the screaming. all their fans will miss Casey's vocals, and continue to support Hawthorne Heights. If you enjoyed their first two albums Silence In Black And White and If Only You Were Lonely, then you will enjoy this too. it's much different from their 3rd album Fragile Future, which has more of a pop/punk quality. Skeletons has a good balance between instrumentals and vocals with very imagerial and poetic lyrics for their dark love songs.

when i first listened to this album, i was surprised at the lack of screaming. i had not been following HH lately, so i was unaware that a membr had died. i really like the songs end of the underground and bring you back. overall great album

If you would have told me 5 years ago that I would be buying an HH album, I would have laughed in your face. Then, I heard the first single, "Nervous Breakdown" and I was hooked. This is without a doubt their best album, and this should have been the album that got them huge on MTV.

Back And Better Than Ever,

After the steps down following their debut, most thought Hawthorne Heights had already rocked past their prime. With this release, the sometimes-screamo vocals are all but gone, and even though I loved the variances in the vocal styles, this just seems to be right. Concentrating on great vocal harmonies, thoughtful lyrics, and slightly (happier?) and catchier music, this reminded me of a great Goldfinger album. Less Emo, more tounge-in-cheek, punk-lite skater rock. I love it.

I just want to know what happened to the original HH!?!?!? I could listen to there first album through and through and loved every second of it. And ever since them they have slowly continued to go downhill. The second album was ok! The third album was the biggest dissapointment. I was actually deployed and had my wife buy it and send it to me and I was let down like you wouldnt believe. Wheres the screaming? The darkness? The unique sound? The MUSIC??? Somewhere along the line HH lost there way. Hopefully they will find it before its to late!!!

What the $%#$#@!,

What is this garbage? HH used to be a great band with a very unique sound. But after their first two albums, it all went downhill. Where's the screaming? Where's the instrumental ingenuity? Now they just sound like any ordinary boy band. What the hell happened to these guys???
