Ski Resort Tycoon II is a fun game. It's easy to build, but difficult to master. You can build anything from hotels to restaurants. You can build ski jumps and build rentals. You can also build ski schools and snowboarding schools! The possibilities are pretty much endless. There are hundreds of ways you can build your resort. With the new one, there is even night skiing! (Everything looks really pretty at night when you have everything set up. WOW!) Also...you can choose a skiier to look at it from his/her perspective. You can see what each skiier or snowboarder thinks of your park. You can even explore your own park with the controls of the arrow buttons on your keyboard if you wanted to. This one is also a really fun game for anyone who loves skiing, snowboarding, or tycoon games. For example, I'm definately not a skiier, but I just love this game. I love tycoon games in general. Get it! I don't think you'd be disappointed.

Just like all of the other tycoon games, this one is just as fun.
From building spas to slopes, this game has it all. The only downside of this game is it's addiction. Once you start playing, you can't stop. You can see a close up view of a skiier, and control where they go, and you can build buildings to keep your skiiers satisfied. I really recommend this game, and if you don't get it, you'll be missing out.

Activision have done it again, with this sequal. The Origional was not very good but still caught peoples eyes.
The idea of the game hooked many people including myself, seeing as the origional is all you can buy in the Uk. One of my friends who's parents come from New York, got the game (Ski Resort Tycoon 2) for Christmas. Unfortunatly for me it is not copyable. We spent hours behind the screen, playing this game. The game is never ending and doesn't get boring. The new advantages like a new array of buildings and the controlable skiers, are all what make this game highly addictable. I would suugest it to any game, who be 8 or 80. It all depends on your style of gaming attitude.

I thought this game was really fun. There are so many new things to buy and the skiers seem a lot more like real people. The graphics are way better than the first one, and you can see from one of the skier's points of views. I didn't see the snowboarding or ski schools in the last one which was a big hit in the my new game. Plus, there's night school now! I found that this game way WAY better than the first one, and I can spend hours on it at a time and not even get bored!! You should buy it!

I got this game a while ago, I played it for a summer and then I thought it was boring, but after some time all the shooting and killing is getting REALLY boring, so I popped the CD in and started playin' again, and after some time you get used to the menu's and know where every thing is it gets real fun!!! I only use one cheat, which is to change the skier spawn rate, you have to hit CTL K and change the Skier Spawn rate to 999999999999999999999, it really makes the money come in fast!!! I would recomend this game to anyone! But I would also recomend GTA Vice City!!

Ski Resort Tycoon is great, you can do everything you can think of with this cool PC program. There are tons of new things that you can build now, in this second one, which the first one did not have. I think it is cool how you can actually be in a person's point of view on the slopes. It is also cool how you can control your own dude. So, if you are ever trying to find a game, get this one.

this is a game i have played over and over thru the years..
i will never tire of it..
not sure what the previous reviewer was talking about "hangups"
the game works great and has no issues..
someone mentioned you run out of money..
i have never had that problem..
but if you build a lengthy ski lift before you have money..
that would make you go broke..
most of your lifts and runs should be small to moderate length..
saving your last runs for the super long ones..
Fun Game with no issues..

This game is awful, it looks like so much fun and isn't at all. There are a lot of hangups and it doesn't run well. Waste of money, which isn't necessarily the seller's fault. It got here in good condition and on time, it is just a horrible game.

This game is not as good at the first but still is really good. The maps are much smaller than the first but has more lift choices and has a better first person mode. There is even night skiing!!! You also have to build a ridiculous amount of buildings before you build your resort. Good advice: Buy the first one.
