First an admission - I bought this CD for my 3 and 5 year-olds to listen to - but I've snuck it out of the house on more than one occassion to listen to in my car during my commute. It's that good!

As for the kids, the first time it got played at home it instantly became the most requested CD in the house - in fact if all the other kid CDs in the house vanished i doubt the kids would know.

The CD is great in so many different ways - it is never condescending (like so many other children's albums); the variety is delightful; the pacing is perfect; and the arrangements of all the songs are so fresh that we never tire of it.

Mr. Howdy, wherever you are, you have set a new standard for kids' music and made huge fans out of our family. Thank you!

Final thought - don't think you've gotta be a country fan to enjoy this CD. My wife HATES country and this is her new favorite music! We're buying more copies, not only for our house but also because from now on Buck Howdy is going to be our standard birthday gift for all of our kids' friends. A legend is born!

We originally discovered Buck Howdy at our local library, it was love at first listen and we renewed it the maximum times allowed. Recently my daughter age 5 wanted to listed to "that ghost riders" song and my son age 2 was known to recite "if there's a skunk in your bunk...," so I decided it was time to buy our own copy. We love it now even more! All the tracks are singable and enjoyable to listen to regardless of age. Like other parents have said Buck Howdy is a CD that can keep on playing even if you ever find yourself alone in the vehicle. We highly recommend the Buck Howdy - Skidaddle CD to everyone and just bought another copy for our children's Montessori school.

I have a little baby who does not like to ride in the vehichle, but as soon as we turn on any of Buck Howdy's music she stops crying. I would recommend his CD's to anyone. They have been a lifesaver to us.

This CD is a must-have for your wanna-be-cowboys. All my kids (even my 7 yo daughter) LOVE it. My husband and I love it! Keeps everyone happy in the car and happy at home. We play it at home when we get in from school. It puts everyone in a great mood and the kids are all dancing and even Daddy is dancing to it when he comes home! It makes a happy home! I can't say enough good things. Great sing-along, toe-tapping music. Just Skidaddle, and BUY IT!

Buck Howdy's Skidaddle is the answer to every mother's prayer ... fun, wholesome music that kids (and adults!) can listen to again and again and again! Every song makes you smile -- from the silliness of Skiddaddle to the hilarious lyrics of Buckaroo, this CD is MUST for everyone. My 4 year old belts out "Ain't No Bugs on Me" every night as if he himself were Buck and my 8 year old loves the fiddle in classics like Splish Splash and Unicorn. In all the years we've been listening to children's music, we've never heard these songs like this! There's nothing like old favorites played a whole new way. Skidaddle is destined to become the next great classic in children's music -- and Buck Howdy is the next true cowboy hero that gives kids (and parents) a reason to sing and dance. We can't wait for his next album!

Skidaddle! Of the three cds I gave my 3yr old grandson for Christmas, Skidaddle! is definitely his favorite. Fun to sing along to-his favorite song on the albun is TheLion Sleeps Tonight

My 3 year old & I saw Buck Howdy perform live & they were so great that we bought their Skidaddle CD. We love their music...it's rejuvenating to a sometimes weary Mommy, and just plain fun for both of us! This is really good music & I'm looking forward to their new Christmas CD :)

Let your kids imaginations soar. A great sing a long CD for the whole family. A must have for long car rides.
