I had looked for quite some time for this type charger, but none could be found locally. I have an older model Skil cordless drill and haven't found anyone who carries batteries for it anymore. My drill had not been used in a couple of years, and was no longer working. However, after leaving it in this charger, the old battery was "resurrected". It didn't hold a charge for more than two or three days, but that's to be expected on a battery that's over 10 years old. At least I can now get some use from the drill while I continue to search for a battery that will fit it.
