Big! But Useful...,
By The only two things I don't like about the case are (1) it's awfully big for what it's carrying and (2) it's plastic rather than metal. However, given the size of this puppy, that may be a blessing. Recommended.

Skil worm drive saw case,
By
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Skil 95277 Worm Drive Carrying Case (Tools & Home Improvement)
My Skil HD77M does not fit in the case and it's not obvious how the saw is even supposed to fit in the case. The inside of the case is shaped nothing like the saw. I tried turning the saw every which way and no go. I suspect my problem "might" be due to the fact I have a fold away skyhook mounted on my saw but it only protrudes out about 1/2" from the side of the saw and the lid is a good 2" from closing. Again, this is assuming I have the saw correctly positioned in the case, which I can be sure of. There's no instructions on how the saw is supposed to go into the case. Overall the case is cheap... the latches that hold the case closed are nothing more than molded plastic flaps that snap onto molded plastic protrusions on the case. Honestly, even if I could figure out how to get the saw to fit in the case, I don't think I would trust carrying it in the case for fear the cheap plastic flaps used as latches would pop up and dump the saw out. Case is complete crap and a complete waste of money.

Decent Case If You're Going To Baby It,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Skil 95277 Worm Drive Carrying Case (Tools & Home Improvement)
This case feels relatively cheap, particularly the latches. I spent about 30 minutes trying to get the Worm Drive Skilsaw SDH77M to fit in the case. I had to call Skil customer service, they informed me the hook had to be removed from the saw in order for it to fit. Even removed you still need to wiggle the saw a little bit to get the case to close. I would only recommend this case if your going to use it casually at home. If you have to open and close this case on a daily basis I can assure you these latches will break. The only reason I'm keeping this case is because I can't find any other cases for worm drive saws.
