I loved the "Daily Summer Activities" series released by the same publisher. I was planning on using the book as some added homework during the school year. While the book has a nice format, it is far too easy for a third grader. It may be the right level for a second grader with the addition of some introductary practice on multiplication and division. Other topics covered in 3rd grade are non-existent in this book.
