4.0 out of 5 stars I LIke It..., January 27, 2000
By
This review is from: Skills to Pay the Bills [VHS] (VHS Tape)
Since, there's no tracklisting anywhere else:

1) Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun 2) So What'cha Want 3) Egg Raid On Mojo 4) Netty's Girl 5) Shake Your Rump 6) Shadrach (Mosh Version) 7) Holy Snappers 8) Hey Ladies 9) Slow + Low (Live) 10) Pass the Mic 11) Ask For Janice, Pt. II 12) Shadrach (Abstract Impressionist Version) 13) So What'cha Want (different version played during credits)

The tracklist on the video box is out of order for #'s 3-5...

i got it for the _Paul's Boutique_ era videos and was greatly impressed. Was never a big fan of _Check Your Head_, but the "Pass the Mic" vid is good."

Hope the Beasties release an anthology DVD to go along with their 2-CD set!

5.0 out of 5 stars you can front on that ..., November 16, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Skills to Pay the Bills [VHS] (VHS Tape)
When I first saw this video, I watched it every day for a month. No kidding. Watch it and see where 90% of the videos made today got their material. Most of the videos made in the later half of the nineties are made in the beasties style. Then I showed it to my brothers and they watched it every day for a month. It'll do that to you. You just don't get bored with it.

A great video for one who is into their earlier music. (i.e. Check Your Head and Paul's Boutique) More for the Hardcore fans.

5.0 out of 5 stars These cats are the sh**!!!, February 18, 1999

I rented this video as a goof, not being a very big Beastie Boyz fan. I was surprised to find that these three white boyz really kick it out.

The video is a composite of live video performance footage and MTV style video stuff. The best clips are of 'Hey Ladies' and 'So Whatcha Want'. Check out the 2nd video of 'So Whatcha Want' at the end of the tape. The Beasties can only hold their 'hard' attitude for so long and end up cracking up at the end. This band's in it for the duration. Enjoy!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best beastie video thus far, January 28, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Skills to Pay the Bills [VHS] (VHS Tape)
This video is the only way true fans can own Mike D's "Georgie Girl" as well as see footage from the shooting of lots of other videos, as this is a hornblower production (yauch) which is way more indicative of the personalities of the boys as opposed to Rick Rubin's 87 self titled video (in which although very amusing displayed gross amounts of misogyny) A great addition to your video collection!

This video is phat. Its got great videos on it like So Whatcha Want and Hey Ladies. It also has the usual Beastie humor. If you are a true Beastie Boys fan then this would be a great addition to your beastie collection.
