Good for visual learners
My visual learner is thoroughly enjoying this book. Seeing the diagrams helps him to understand how the parts of a sentence work together. It makes grammar fun! He's already looking forward to Book 2.

Not well organized, not very comprehensive
This book is a fine review if you already know how to diagram sentences, and if you already have a comprehensive knowledge of grammar. It is NOT the book you want to use if you are trying to teach your 6th and 8th grade boys the art of diagramming. There is a LOT of assumed knowledge, and every chapter includes examples of grammar and diagramming techniques that have...

This book is a fine review if you already know how to diagram sentences, and if you already have a comprehensive knowledge of grammar. It is NOT the book you want to use if you are trying to teach your 6th and 8th grade boys the art of diagramming. There is a LOT of assumed knowledge, and every chapter includes examples of grammar and diagramming techniques that have not yet been explained. It is very poorly organized. Unfortunately, I have not yet found a different book to recommend...
