I used this product on some blisters caused by swim fins. It doesn't claim to be water resistant, but it adheres pretty well in the water. Like the other reviewer, I withheld one star because the product is a bit clumsy to handle.

Prior to using this product, the only other "blister-prevention" treatment I did was rubbing vaseline (or even spreading Miracle of Aloe Miracle Foot Repair Cream) on the "trouble spots" under my foot and then wearing double-lined running socks. This worked for my lower mileage runs (5 to 10 miles) but for the longer runs (11 to 26 miles) it was insufficient. After ending up with one of the biggest blisters I've ever gotten (about an inch in diameter), I decided to do some research on blister preventative measures and found this product.Skin-on-Skin exceeded my expectations. I ran my 20-miler training run and then a marathon weeks later with these under my feet and am happy to report that I haven't got any blisters! The experience of the pad on your feet was nice, kept that trouble-spot cool and "cushion-y". I would have given this product the full five stars but it loses a star over the difficulty in taking out the hydrogel pad from the foil pouch (especially when it's stuck to another hydrogel pad), and then finally peeling off the blue film from the hydrogel pad. It would have been nice if the pads were separated neatly so you didn't have to touch the unused pads in the same foil pouch. Despite this small negative, I would and have recommended this product to my fellow runners.
