From Chapter 5, The Stand-In, by Kirk Dickson Summer's crisp night wind smelled fresh and felt cool as it passed through the open window and onto my bare chest; I was preparing dinner and a heavy heat was pouring from the stove. I walked over to take in the evening air-closing my eyes and tilting my head back, I let the sweat on my neck and torso slowly chill. I opened my eyes and gazed upon a full moon thinly veiled behind a cloudy gauze: the celestial orb cast a gray halo onto a black-blue canvas and there was mysticism in the air. The age-old sky was primal, making me suddenly aware of the blood pulsating through my body. Unexplainable though it may sound, I somehow knew that this night was a special one. The phone rang, abruptly ending my cosmic contemplation of the night. It was my best friend, Jason. Jason's date had stood him up. Being the Dateless-Wonder-and-Ever-Present-Standby, and just like a good little boy should, I invited him over for dinner. "Great. I'll be right there," he said. "Hey. By the way, I got your message yesterday. Congratulations on winning that erotic short story contest. For someone who's never gotten laid, you sure can fantasize!" "Thanks. Thanks a lot." My words oozed their standard sarcasm. Jason always had a way of making me feel as if I should thank him for taking the time to compliment me. I find humorous undertones to be the most effective way of expressing any discontent, although I know he doesn't mean any harm. He's terribly unaware of my many personal issues with our friendship. For that matter, he's just terribly unaware. I imagine that comes with having life handed to you just because you have a pretty face. And Jason, God love him, has one hell of a face-I always thought he looked exactly like Kurt Stefano. Cute and not too intellectual-just how I like 'em. I had lusted for his body the instant I laid eyes on him three years ago, but as we became friends the possibility seemed to die, even if the desire didn't. I learned to live with what life had dealt to me, and everyone can use a good friend. "I'll see you when you get here." "What do you get for winning that contest anyway?" Jason asked. "Hell if I know. Probably a 'Billy' doll or something." "Alright. Be there soon." And then the dialtone. The dialtone, like Jason, reminded me that I was alone. Another sexless night in an endless, frustrating succession. I took a break from dinner to open the refrigerator door and take advantage of man's greatest invention: freon. The cool air made my nipples stand at attention. Before long my hand took an all-too-familiar road, and I began to stroke my sweaty cock. I have, over time, become something of an expert on self-gratification: first, I keep my hand over the smooth fabric of my black, silk boxers. The strokes to my masculinity gliding broad and vertical, I allow my middle finger to firmly press my shaft between the balls with each downward motion. My dick grows hard and too heavy for my shorts, falling through the front flap. Taking my cock with my right hand, I steadily travel up and down, allowing my thumb to press against the sensitive tip of my cock head. My left hand massages my balls in a circular motion, and as my pace quickens I permit the left index finger to trail back further and tease my asshole. My breathing shortens and my penis swells to an urgent red. Pumping furiously, I'm achingly close to climax. And then the buzzer's scream shatters my selfish indulgence. Damn. "Who is it?" I droned, zipping up my shorts.

"The incredibly horny star of your favorite gay porn flick." "Ha Ha. Very funny, Jason." I hated him for having discovered the fictional story I had penned starring my fantasy stud, Paul Morgan. "Come on up." I returned to the preparations for dinner a frustrated man, and I was adding the secret ingredient to my pasta sauce as the doorbell rang. "It's open." A voice at once familiar and yet unfamiliar-a voice I was damn sure did not belong to Jason-congratulated me on my contest win. What the hell? My mouth went dry as I turned to discover, standing in my kitchen with a box under his arm, my favorite gay pornstar Paul Morgan-dressed in a tight-fitting parcel delivery outfit. Or was it just a Paul Morgan lookalike? Could it possibly be Paul-in the flesh-in my kitchen? "I didn't know the parcel service ran so late." Shit. I always say the stupidest things around men I find attractive. "Well, this is a very special delivery." He placed the parcel on the floor and began to unbutton his shirt, but he didn't remove it, creating an intoxicating frame for his chiseled abs. I braced myself against the oven moments later as his shorts slid from his waist and around his ankles. He was wearing a pair of Calvin Klein boxer-briefs that glowed brilliant white against his sun-glazed skin, and he clutched his large, erect penis through the sweat-drenched fabric. I thought I was going to pass out. Seriously. "Well, do you want your prize or don't you?" "I never wanted anything more in my life." And with that, this sinfully gorgeous man pressed his lips and body to mine, forcing me to the kitchen floor. I nearly came from the conflicting sensations of the cold porcelain against my back and the freshly bronzed Paul Morgan look-a-like atop my body. Continued ...

5.0 out of 5 stars Porn Fantasy at It's Best!, July 26, 2000
This review is from: Skinflicks: Erotic Tales from Behind the Scenes: An Anthology (v. 1) (Paperback)
I really enjoyed these gay erotic fantasy stories about pornstars. Bruce Wayne has gathered together 15 erotic writers to share their stories about what pornstars do after hours and behind the scenes. Represented here are writers; Jim Buck, Vic Howell, Michael Lassell, David MacMillan, and others. I especially enjoyed "Two Big Thumbs Up" and "Brother Act." Whether these stories are fantasy or reality makes no difference, they're great for late night or a quick read anytime. Looking forward to the next volume.

5.0 out of 5 stars What the Pornstars Do After Hours, January 7, 2006
This review is from: Skinflicks: Erotic Tales from Behind the Scenes: An Anthology (v. 1) (Paperback)
"15 erotic writers share their stories about what the pornstars do after hours and behind the scenes. ¶ Have you ever fantasized about what it would be like to sleep with a pornstar? Ever wondered who the pornstars sleep with when they're not in front of the camera? If so, then you'll find this collection of 15 erotic pornstar tales a wetdream come true. ¶ You may want to start with pornstar Jim Buck's story, written especially for this collection, titled 'Two Big Thumbs Up.' Most of the other writers also work in the porn video business--when they're not writing--though not in front of the camera, like Jim. ¶ Your favorite FANtasies are all here. Titles include 'Brother Act,' 'Soothing the Savage Actor,' 'The Pornstar Next Door,' 'The Stand-In,' 'The Cocky Videostore Clerk,' 'Telephone Audition' and 'Pornstar Powertrip,' for starters."--© zebraz
