Nothing Hidden from God, September 3, 2008
Author Eric B. Blackwell penned a wonderfully refreshing read with a title that will make you pause in the beginning. However, the honest and point-blank approach used to encourage others to find their way to God, and a personal relationship with Him is uplifting.
Skinny Dipping with the Savior begins by addressing what it means to strip yourself before God. Sharing scriptural reference and personal knowledge and experience, Author Blackwell explains the process of getting nude before God, as well as the experiences in life and within the walls of our churches that may discourage people from doing so. Blackwell points out that he found that people do love God, but it is His fan club they are not too fond of.
Further in the book, relationship basics are shared, as well as how to capture the heart of God. In particular, he shared the lesson of King David when he sinned with Bathsheba. The process of when and how the sin occurred, as well as the correction, rebuke, and finally repentance.
Finally, we learn that we are in a battle, but that God can and will prepare us according to His Word. I recommend Skinny Dipping with the Savior to anyone who desires an honest approach to a true relationship with God.

Tender Teaching of The Word of God!, June 12, 2008
I knew as I began reading this work by author, Eric Blackwell, that it would be a pleasant read, and it was.
Our author has written this work to help followers of the Lord draw nearer to Him, in a more personal way. He gently explains basics of God, and His Word. He speaks of the Holy Spirit, prayer, your relationship with the Lord, and love, to name just a few subjects. He shares the Word of God in relation to the topics and explains how they are beneficial to a believer and why.
I definitely felt the love of God within the pages of this book.
The tenderness and true heart of the author shone through, and I could sense his deep desire to help others through the Word of God. This is a wonderful book to give to a new Christian, or a Christian of any age in the Lord. It will definitely help them to understand God's Word in more fullness and will help them with their daily walk. Well done Mr.Blackwell.

What did you like best about this book?
I enjoyed that he gave valid scriptures and stayed in conjunction with the word of god-- never deterred from what has been written to what man would say.
What did you dislike about this book?
I can't say there were things that I disliked about the book.
How can the author improve this book?
By changing the cover of the book, by looking at the cover you are not sure what you will be really reading, that is why once you begin to read, you pause because the cover has you completely thrown off.
