I bought this when I had to return the Golds Gym's version because the pulley slipped off. The Skinny girl is very sturdy, no pulleys there, there is no need for any adjustments just use it right out of the box, except for installing the batteries. I have it for two weeks now, I lost five pounds, I can see the difference in my buns and thighs. I was using it for my buns and thighs, but I noticed it also helps my abs. (Serendipity), Sweet! Replaces the thread mill and elliptical when you don't have the space for bulky equipment or the time to go to the gym

I chose the skinny girl because a friend of mine had one that is about 10 yrs old. It is solid as a rock and he is a pretty big guy that rides a bike everywhere he goes. It is still in great shape and he uses it regularly. I have a job where I am inside most of the day and do not get a chance to get much exercise. I have mine at work! This device is small, extremely well built and can wear you out very quickly. I do one hundred steps each leg as a set, and do a total of 500 to 1000 a day (5 to 10 sets). The faster you go the more resistance. Plus you can double the elastic straps for more resistance, or put it under a doorway and push down as you step. I really like the fact that it can wear you out in just a few minutes and actually makes your legs feel great. Works all the muscles in your legs and butt. I really needed to work my feet and lower legs. I am flat footed as can be and hiking has become a painful thing. I am hoping that this strengthen my feet and calves to help with this and it seems to be doing just that without the pain. I am 50 years old and like to be able to hike and hunt in the hills around my house. I dont think you can beat this thing for the money, size and speed of workout. Had to use some chain oil to get rid of the squeaks and now it is silent. What a CHEAP fix to every issue I had !

I love this item! It comes with arm things that I don't care about. Works like a charm and is quiet. Step shallow or deep and vary your own speed for variety. Small unit, doesn't take much space. I put it in a doorway where I can watch TV while using it.

I opened the package. There was no assembly required which was great. I reset the counter, I got on and tried it out. The counter was not working. I was very confused.
My husband got back from work and took a look at it and figured out that the sensor had been moved & banged around during shipping. The big white metal bar in the middle is banged up pretty bad. He is a mechanic, so he then opened under the counter device and super glued the sensor thing back on. (something like that) He told me I should return it, but I really don't want to wait to return it, I am excited to use it. I will see how it works out.
