I researched screen protectors for few hours before I purchased the skinomi. I was worried about installing it, previous reviews had me nervous. It took me a few days to decide when I could go without my phone for 24hrs. I read the directions more than a few times, I cleaned the area that I was working on and I cleaned my phone over and over. I kept a small bowl with the solution used to apply the skin to keep my fingers wet, this helped out a lot. It took my a few trys to get it just right. After that I was worried I had about 9 pinhead size bubbles and the screen as full of streaks. But just like the instructions said after a few days all was perfect. The screen is clear and it feels very simalar to the bare screen. I love it, I just ordered another one for my husband's phone.

I have an iPhone 3GS and have used the "disposable" screen protectors where the bubbles are impossible to get out. The wet application of skinomi ensures that it is completely bubble free the first time.
Application - after cleaning my iPhone thoroughly, and being really careful with following the instructions (clean hands, wet fingers with solution, apply on cleaned surface, allow a day to dry). Somehow, dust still got in between the screen and protective film. And I did not know that it was there during the wet stage, since the screen has a rainbow effect while it's wet and I wouldn't be able to tell. Once dust or anything sticks to the adhesive, it's over. I tried to peel it off, clean it, and re-apply and the same dust is still there. I thought I would be able to live with it so I gave it a few days. But it got annoying and really visible with white-lit backgrounds that I ripped it off and threw it away.
Conclusion - this is probably the best protective film on the market, but it was wasted $10 for me. iPhone screens are pretty scratch resistant, and you can't beat the original glossy feel and responsiveness of the bare phone.

Works! Has a bit of a tacky feel, but does not bother me. The initial installation requires some patience and time to "cure". If you take your time and follow instructions you'll be happy with result.

i thought it woudnt work
when i put it on my iphone , they were some bubbles hanging on the screen but like the manual said in a few days they will disappear, so i waited, and what a surprise, they did.
