Let me preface this review by mentioning that I have a Zagg InvisbleShield on my iPod Touch, so I do have a direct comparison with another product. The skinomi works so very well, but I certainly did not think that when I first received the screen protector and installed it. Installation was fairly simple and I do recommend the tip of using a compressed air can to blow excess dust after wiping down the device. It really does work wonders in keeping dust off your screen long enough for you to install. After I installed this, I had a fair amount of bubbles left on my screen that I just could not remove or push out through the edges. But, I decided to trust the promise by Skinomi that these would take care of themselves over the next few days. During the first week or so, the screen protector was an absolute pain for me to use. It would not register my inputs properly and sometimes I would have to hold my finger down for a few seconds for my phone to recognize my input. I was so frustrated that at one point, I contemplated removing the screen protector. However, I gave it some more time and used my thumb to forcibly slide up and down my screen to try to get the screen protector to stick to the screen a little more. Over the next couple of days, all the air bubbles worked themselves out and within another week, the screen protector was now fully stuck to the screen properly and the phone was now registering all my inputs properly and accurately.
Now that it has been working properly for me, I absolutely love it. It feels so much better than the rubbery feeling of the InvisibleShield and it just glides a lot better. It's not as smooth as the glass screen, but it's pretty damned close. For me, I can definitely recommend the Skinomi. And for those of you experiencing the same problems I had, give it a couple of weeks to work itself out before you make the decision to remove it.
