FYI: this only covers the front. very easy to install just make sure to remove the battery, wash your hands and clean the screen very well; use a micro fiber cloth or one of those used on glasses. As you peel the shield from its card, spray the "sticky" side with the included spray while removing it. Do not spray the phone! Position the shield into the phone gently; if you won't slide around, lift the shield and spray it again. Ensure you keep the "sticky side towards the phone. One you have it aligned, start to gently press it into place; this will hold it place. Then, using the included squeegee, start from the center and work towards the edges, smooth it out. No need to apply a great deal of pressure. Any tiny bubbles will disappear in a day or two. Also, you may notice a slight glare when looking at the screen right after installation and turning it on; this too will disappear in a day or so. You'll also need to place the phone on a lint free cloth to collect the water as you squeegee it out.

When I purchased my Palm Pre, I bought the Invishield. It was difficult to put on: I had to cut the cover to fit the phone, the smoother applicator that they give you skids across the screen and ends up not taking all the bubbles out as it's supposed to. The feel of it after it was on was strange as well. After less than 2 months of use, it ended up coming up at the edges and no longer sticking. The Skinomi was a painless application. It automatically had holes to fit the Palm Pre exactly. The application was super easy and you could actually position it while it was drying. The feel of it is solid and sturdy. And you can't even tell that it's on - no bubbles, no surface blemishes at all. if you have a Palm Pre - you need this.

Don't listen to the kid who gave this 1 star. The screen protector is NOT hard to put on. I find that it was easier than the regular peel and stick. The liquid allows you to move the screen protector when you install, so you can get it perfectly before you let it dry. It dries without bubbles, but some larger ones took about a week.

Best of all the screen protector comes with lifetime warranty and i can see why. I leave my pre in my pockets, without a case, its been 2 weeks and not a single scratch. Forget the old peel and stick, went through 2 of them before I got the skinomi one and I'll never go back.

It takes just a little patience to get this on, take your time and watchout for dust. Once it's on, you'll never need another screen protector. Thank you Skinomi.

I received my Skinomi on Friday. I nervously opened the box, and was amazed to find a little spray bottle of solution, with the skin itself and installation card hidden in the cardboard. Knowing it is a super-high-tech sticker, I was a little nervous about installing it.

I would recommend making sure you clean the surface really really well, and make sure to do the installation where you have good lighting. I sprayed my fingers, and then went to remove the protector. One thing the instructions did not make clear was how to even peel the protector off the backing. I could not get it up, and I was afraid to crease it. I finally removed the entire thing from the back (not just the die-cut middle, but the square edges), and once it was removed, I could easily remove the die-cut middle with wet fingers.

To be honest, I thought during installation I was messing the whole thing up. I used the microphone hole as an alignment fiducial, thinking that of all things, the microphone better be clear. It wouldn't matter if the ear speaker was a little covered. Amazingly, I got the entire sticker aligned, and then I used the card to smooth it out. About 5 minutes later, I noticed it had started to set, so I was done. At that point, I found a bubble! The bubble was trapped on all sides by set plastic---no way out!

I put my phone down and went to bed. I have no clue how this thing works, but there was no bubble in the morning, and all streaks were gone. Where did the bubble go? I do not know. I do know that my pre screen is now protected, and honestly, this thing looks better that the screen by itself. My only complaint is that it is a little less slick, but that's a small price to pay. The protector also seems to show finger prints less, so less need to wipe the screen.

5 stars---highest recommendation.

The screen protector is still going strong. I have had thin plastic sheets on my PDA screens back as far as my original PalmPilot. None have stood up to abuse like the Skinomi. It is part of the phone--I never even notice it. It is more durable than the screen and protects it quite nicely. I just wanted to update and say this is well worth the money.

I received this product from Amazon and installed it per directions.
It did it's job well enough for a while. After 6 months, the screen protector started peeling off around the receiver area (where it has a hole -- for the sound I guess).

Well, it's been over a month since I filled out all the paperwork and documentation needed to get a replacement from Skinomi. They haven't responded to emails, voicemails (surprise: there's no human), nothing, nada, zip.

Let's be clear: Skinomi's "Lifetime Replacement" doesn't mean that they'll replace the screen for the lifetime of the product. It means that it will take a lifetime for them to GET the replacement to you.

Forget these guys.

It is exactly as it looks. Semi-difficult to get it lined up correctly, but once it is on, it feels great and does not hinder any functionality. Some dust will gather around the edges.

This is a great product! And affordable, too.

When applying, there's a mist bottle to make things slippery -- just use that liberally, then wait for the time they tell you, and it's a beautiful fit and very durable and clear. No bubbles, and doesn't affect the visibility of the screen at all.

With lifetime replacements for the low price... it's an easy decision.

I bought this after being disappointed with the ZAGG InvisibleShield product. I prefer this product because it's a simpler (smaller) design just covering the front, without trying to wrap around the ports and sides, and that makes it easier to apply and just as effective.

This is the second screen protector I've had so far for the Pre and this product is far superior. I had originally bought both the Seidio case & the Seidio screen protectors. The case is great, but the screen protectors were a nightmare. The first one ruined immediately, and the second had horrendous bubbles that would simply not go away. After days, I returned the Seidio protectors, and got the Skinomi ones. It includes some spray and one protector that is super easy to apply. You wipe your phone clean first, then moisten your hands with the spray, and spray the protector on both sides. You can reapply as many times as you need until you get good placement, then smooth out the bubbles (I had practically none on my second attempt) and let it dry. You seriously can't even tell it's there!

My recommendation? Get the Seidio case to protect your phone from drops, and the Skinomi Screen Protector to withstand scratches. I can tell this product is meant to last.

After reading the instructions I thought that it would be complicated to get it on, but it was actually very easy. I love it. I agree with some of the others, if you have a pre you should get this brand. : )

I've tried others, and by far this is the best skin. The fact that it does not wrap around the sides (top/bottom and sides) makes this skin the best option for 2 reasons: it's easier to install and lasts longer as it's less prone to peel off around the edges. This skin also allows you to easily install a click-on hard case without affecting the tight fit of such case. Highly recommend this product.
