This is a heavy duty screen protector that works really well, and unlike other screen protectors I've tried in the past on other phones this one seems like it could last forever after having installed it properly. I have 2 Nexus One phones and I will purchase a 2nd for my other phone. Personally, the thick rubberized feel makes typing on the touch keyboard seem more responsive, and comfortable, because the naked glass screen is otherwise so slick that every time I lightly touch it my fingers slip ever so slightly if only a millimeter, which could be enough from time to time to register a wrong keystroke. However I have to dock the product a star because there are still visible micro-bubbles underneath the screen protector after 3 days. The maker claims that they will disappear after a few days, and although their visibility seems diminished I remain skeptical that they will disappear completely(not a deal breaker for me).In response to critics of the product that have a major hangup of using water in the application process, the product comes with a fine mist sprayer meant to lubricate the sticky side of the film so that all the air pockets can be easily pressed out by sliding a plastic card across the screen after the protector is installed. This is an ingenious method, because when this is done the air pockets disappear so easily, ultimately making installation easier than other protectors I've used. Consequently collected water is also pressed out, so have a paper towel or lens paper handy to catch the excess water so it doesn't reach the speaker or the scroll ball. In the event that water does reach these areas it's no big deal because it's only small droplets whose surface tension will prevent them from seeping into these small holes on the device. On top of that the product maker also recommends not turning on your device for 12 to 24 hours, I assume as a precautionary measure. But instead of waiting 12 hours, I chose to use a hair dryer carefully alternating between the low and cool setting as to not cause heat damage to the screen, while drying out any potential moisture seeped into these areas. During this process I periodically pressed the screen to my cheek to check the temperature to make sure the phone wasn't heating up.

Disappointing Screen Protector....Buy Seido Instead,

Like all others are saying, the screen protector is not very good and difficult to install. On top of the fact that you have to use water, the screen has this dry sandy look after it dries that makes it look very dirty. I had to use a lot of water to prevent this from happening, but there would still be a line or streak with a sandy appearance. Sure, I probably applied it wrong but I followed the directions exactly and even if i did apply it wrong that doesn't take away from the fact that its notoriously difficult to install properly. I wouldnt recommend this at all. I tried twice with two different screen protectors from this same company and both ended up with sandy screens (and a lot of water needed to be used). If you want a good screen protector for the nexus one, buy the "ultimate screen guard" from seido. It goes on effortlessly WITHOUT water, and the bubbles are super easy to remove. The screen is clear, not sandy, and the touch screen and light sensor still work perfectly despite having this screen protector on it. Its a better bang for your buck. Check it out. Its probably the easiest screen protector I have ever installed actually, easier than any other screen protector I have used on the nexus one or my ipod touch.

I bought this screen protector few days ago and they shipped it out to me very quickly. The screen protector's quality is great. It does not affect the touch screen's sensitivity. Display is still crystal clear even with the protector on. Imo, it was also very easy to install. Just make sure to turn off your phone and avoid turning it on for the next 12 hours or so after you apply the screen protector.

This is a remarkable screen protector. I have used many of those peel away, replaceable screen protectors on other phones in the past. They crack and peel and don't do much beyond make it look as though you have an ugly sheet of plastic over your phone. I thought this was the same type of product after first placing it on. But after about 3 days is when I saw it really get impressive. Here are my thoughts and notes on this item:When you first place on the screen protector, it becomes obvious they're not joking about using the spray. This is why you have to turn your phone off. You are going to use a lot of this stuff. It is going to drip and make a mess and get all over the place. It will get into the cracks of your phone. This is why you're turning the phone off, to give any excess moisture time to clear from the circuitry that may have been gotten wet. If you are very careful, as I was with my new, expensive phone, this won't be as big of an issue. Make sure you really, really use a lot of fluid. There should be not a single dry spot on either side of the sheet, or your fingers while you are working on it. I resprayed my fingers several times while I was placing the screen protector onto the phone, and I was not shy about getting the thing shy of dripping. When I put the protector on the screen and felt the thing even slightly drying under my fingers, I sprayed my fingers wet, rubbed over the surface of the screen, and touched up the excess moisture around the edges with a lint free cloth. When it came time to squeegee, I held near the edges with my cloth and worked in one direction, smooth sliding and pushing bubbles from under the surface as best I could. I re-applied liquid to the surface I was running the squeegee over while I did so to ensure the screen protector never became tacky. And when I was done with my careful, (in my opinion) expert placement process - the screen looked HORRIBLE. It was streaky and ugly and did not look as though I had done it correctly despite following instructions. An hour or two later? It looked even worse, streaky and with bubbles underneath. I re-read the instructions and found I had done everything correctly to the best of my knowledge. Confident I could just rip it off in the morning, I went to sleep. The next day - it looked great. There were bubbles under the surface here and there, but very small ones, minor imperfections and a single streak. I went about the day, feeling better. By the end of that day, many streaks were gone. The next day, bubbles gone. The third day - every imperfection I could see had gone away. Now, if you've read this all, you already know the points, and if you wanted the short version, this is it: - Use lots of the included liquid. LOTS. - Do turn your phone off and remove the battery for the minimum 12 hour period, 24 if you feel you got a lot of liquid seepage. - Wait a few days after installation before you pick at the screen or try to mess with it or make final judgement. Essentially, let it cure a few days.

Flawless Screen Protection,
This review is from: Skinomi TechSkin - Screen Protector Shield for Nexus One (Wireless Phone Accessory)
Got the protector, my girlfriend bought a back of 3 protectors for $10 for her DROID, so I was curious to see what I was getting for my money. The liquid kind of threw me for a loop, but was no problem. I just went to the sink, gave my fingers a few quick sprays, peeled off the protector and sprayed the crap out of it. Took my fingers and rubbed around the whole thing, making sure it was nice and lubed up. Very easy to place when its wet, just about a perfect fit. Squeegied out all the liquid, get dabbing with the lint free cloth. When it was first done, I was dissapointed, but after propping it up in front of a space heater for a few hours to hasten the drying process, it looks FLAWLESS. Seems much less inclined to attract finger prints and face oil, and I'm less worried about tossing it around a little bit. I didn't want to get a full body case, but this nice screen protector fits flawlessly and gets the job done!

This screen protector did wonders for the feel of my Nexus One. It was simple to apply and it really cuts down on how much face and finger oils effect the screen. Before applying the techskin I found myself wiping my phone off on my shirt after every use; I don't think I have had to do that once since then.My only disappointment was that is doesn't quite go from screen edge to edge; it is maybe two millimeters too short and one millimeter too narrow. I would absolutely buy this product again and have recommended it to friends.

It is not scratch-proof,

After applying the protector, I already found a permanent scratch on the protector. After a few more days, more micro-scratches are noticed under direct sunlight. Well, you get what you pay for. BTW, the Nexus One screen is made of glass and is actually scratch-proof to begin with, you can check out this youtube of this crazy guy keying the crap out of it without any physical damage to the screen. [...]. I might remove the protector altogether when I find more scratches on it.

Had no problems, just follow the instructions to the tee. Next day could even tell it was on. It has no effect on the touch screen that I can sense.
