Bursting with killer tunes, like Bloc Party's `Positive Tension' and Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs `Date With The Night' and dripping with heavy beats such as Roots Manuva `Witness The Fitness' and Tricky's `Hell Around The Corner', the 19-track album is a fusion of talent. Of course the "Skins" soundtrack would not be complete without the signature tune, Gossip's `Standing In The Way of Control', with its thumping drums and catchy hook. This track alone sums up Skins - teens living it up and having a good time. The closing track on the album `Wild World' is also of note as it is sung by cast member Mike Bailey who plays lovelorn Sid, the guy who can't lose his virginity. The song is a cover of the classic Cat Stevens track, and re-entered the Top 40 earlier 2007 on the back of it being sung on the show.
