An Angel(?)'s Fury, November 6, 2007
This review is from: Skip Beat!, Vol. 8 (Paperback)
Kyoko is an angel. Literally. A sweet and tender angel.
According to the music video's script, the nasty, evil, lecherous creeeeeeep of a devil (played by Sho Fuwa, her REAL arch-enemy) loves her best friend, another angel. That girl loves him back with all her heart... even though such a love affair is killing them both. So Kyoko's angel, fearing for her beloved friend's life...
KILLS THE DEMON!!!! SLAYS HIM!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, SHO??? YOU'RE DEAD!! DEAD!!!!!
...And that's where the problem lies. You see, Kyoko plays an angel who BECOMES evil to save her friend. She transforms into a dark angel AFTER she kills the devil. Emphasis on "AFTER".
She's NOT supposed to be evil already!!!
CAN Kyoko kill the man she's dedicated her life to destroying... nicely?
CAN she act the part of an angel sinning for the first time because of her LOVE for her friend?
And CAN Sho survive this many re-takes with a psycho?
When Ren Tsuruga finds out that she gave in to her desire for revenge instead of her love for acting, what will HE do?
And finally, Moko got an acting job! In a drama! It's her breakthrough into prime time! So why is she acting like someone on her way to the execution chamber? What isn't she telling? Why won't she tell her best friend Kyoko? Who's the guy she was with this afternoon, why did she dress like someone else, and why was she all lovey-dovey with him??? And then she got into a car with an older guy, and then she was in a restaurant with yet another man! WHAT IS GOING ON???
