5.0 out of 5 stars Fun Presentation = Trying New Foods
This dish is great for introducing new foods. I just put 4 or 5 pieces in a section (like pes, carrots, raisins, dry cereal, whole wheat pasta) and let my 2 year old pick and choose. It's also great for my five year old in the same way. Also, I fill the big section with some kind of dipper (bread/waffle/etc) and fill the cups with different dips (yogurt/honey/pureed...

2.0 out of 5 stars Just ok
I was so excited when I first saw this product. I was looking for something that was microwavable and this had the bonus of having lids; which is great when I am preparing my sons meals for the day. However, the bowls do not lock into the palatte so he just pulls them all up and spills his food everwhere.

I even use it for veggie patties/soy nuggets and intro dips in each cup like mustard, maranara, balsamic. They love it.

This feeding set is so cool and fun to use. It's colorful with an appealing shape. My tot likes to have a variety to eat during meal time and this is a neat way offer up to 3 options! I really like how the lids pop right on (because sometimes she doesn't eat all of her food of course) and we can toss them right into the fridge!

With it being BPA, PVC and Phthalate free, you can beat that!!

This item is great for early stage eaters! It also works really well for the high chairs that do not have a tray and connect right up to the counter or table.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice product, September 5, 2011

I mostly like the plate and my daughter does too. She likes to move the cups around and the cup sides give her the edge to help her use her fork and spoon really well (she's fifteen months and can feed herself with utensils when she uses the plate). We've found she really loves to take the cups out, so they don't work well for things like applesauce which goes flying. The easy fix is to put anything like that directly into the space for the cup. She also learned that the plate is not attached, so sometimes she wants to pick that up and fling it too. Since it's a little awkward for her to pick up, we have always caught it before it goes flying. I only wish that I had bought it right when we were introducing solids to have more time to enjoy it before it becomes something else she's outgrown.

Skip Hop makes some really nice designy things for babies. This one is no exception. I especially like that the containers can double as food storage. The actual palette is a bit large so if you high chair tray is on the smallish side you may have to wait until baby is old enough to sit at the table. But overall, I really like it and can't wait to use it for real.
