Not as great as I had hoped,

I bought this diaper bag because I wanted something a bit smaller than the large diaper bag I had been using until my daughter's first birthday. I chose this particular bag because of the numerous pockets that it comes with. I love the color and it seems to be made really well. The only issue I have with it is that you can't actually put something in every pocket. If you put something in the outer bottle pocket, then the diaper disposal bag holder I have won't fit on the inside pocket on that same side. Basically, one pocket impedes the other as there just isn't enough space to go around. The changing pad just fits into the outside pocket so that once you fill up the inside, you have to squeeeeeze the changing pad into the outside pocket. It doesn't really hold much on the inside either. Since I was trying to downsize, this is probably okay for me now since it prevents me from stuffing too much inside! However, I don't think this bag would be large enough for a mom with a new baby trying to tote multiple items for feeding, changing, and a blanket, etc. If I were going to buy a Skip Hop for a newer mom, I would suggest the messenger bag. It seems to hold a bit more. For the Skip Hop, I would recommend the deluxe bag though with the padded strap.

We've used this diaper bag for a year and have two problems with it:
1. After normal usage it looks shabby and the the seams are frayed and worn. 2. It doesn't hold that much. The diapers are always falling out of the diaper compartment and it's always overflowing. And we don't carry tons of stuff around. It's just that the compartments don't expand so that there's a minimal amount of storage space.

Good bag, lots of pockets, not enough room for long outings,

I agree with some other reviewers who say that there's not enough room in the bag when the pockets are full. You definitely have to choose which pockets you want to use, because you can't use them all - they infringe upon each other's space! It's a nice size for short trips, but definitely too small for full-day outings. By the time I pack a few size 2 diapers, a hard travel wipes case, my Hotsling, nursing cover and some burp cloths, there's not much room for extra toys or a blanket if you want to close the top flap. There's even less room on the inside if you take advantage of the zippered pocket for things like wallet, keys, planner, etc.
I also think the bag could benefit from some metal feet on the bottom so you don't get the bag dirty when you set it down, but overall, I'm please with my purchase.

Skip Hop Dash Deluxe diaper bag is awesome. It stores everything neatly and organized:o) I love that it comes with an extra storage space for wallet, keys, & cell phone. It's not overly feminine so my hubby can carry it around as well. It holds bottles, change of clothes, diapers, comes with a change pad, holds all baby toiletries. I have gone thru 4 diaper bags before I found one that really worked for us. I highly recommend it. If there is any draw back to this product it would be that the main compartment flap is held closed by magnets instead of a snap or latch. Other than that this the perfect diaper bag:o)

After using this bag for only 6 weeks stitching started to come undone in 2 places on the bag. It has now been 2.5 weeks since I first informed their customer service of the issue and still no resolution. Their e-mails have been very short and no apology was ever given. In their last response they requested photos of the problem areas and an address, and it has now been 1 week since I provided that and have heard nothing back!! If you call you just get a voicemail. I will update this if it is ever resolved, but even then the process is horrible!

The only diaper bag you will ever need,

I search for weeks before I decided on buying this diaper bag. And I am glad that I did so because this is the perfect diaper bag. The colors are neutral so it is great for my husband to carry it too. It really can hold a lot and I don't see a problem using this even for a day care center because it has plenty of room for bottles, diapers, wipes, clothes, etc. It's not too big and certainly not too small. The pockets on the outside are large. I love that the inside is a different color (white) so I don't have to search in a dark inside for something. I also really love the unique handle system to hang onto the stroller. There are no cons with this diaper bag...it's a must!

My baby is 5 months old. When I was pregnant I bought a regular/standard diaper bag, with winnie the pooh on it, from a department store. At the time I just thought, "oh its so cute for a baby!". That diaper bag is big, but with hardly any pockets. I've quickly realized that I needed something better. My main goal when setting out to shop for a new diaper bag was that I wanted something that could double as my purse, so that when we go out I do not need to bring the diaper bag AND the purse. I have 3 kids in all, so the less I have to bring the better!
When I opened my package today I was pleasantly surprised at the size of this bag! I wanted something smaller then the diaper bag I have. When we go out I bring: change of clothes for my baby, 5-6 diapers, wipes, 2-3 burp cloths, a couple bibs, 2 bottles, can of formula, and his jared food if we'll be gone near mealtimes. Also: a couple of toys and his "bankey". We don't bring a ton of stuff, so when I was debating between this bag and the bigger, more expensive skip hop bag (the 80-90 dollar one), I chose this one as I wanted one that was smaller, but (hopefully not) too small. Being too small was the only thing I was nervous about when I ordered this bag. When I opened the package I was very impressed that it was actually bigger then I was expecting! Not too big/huge, but not so small and compact that you can't put hardly anything in it. To test it out, I filled it with all of what I listed above and it fits great! It also has pockets for mom stuff - In addition to the baby items I was able to add my wallet, keys, cell phone, lip gloss, pen, and my Kindle and could certainly fit more if needed. Inside one of the pockets in the front of the bag is a clip for hooking a set of keys too - very nice extra touch. everything is so much more organized! I've seen people complain about the magnetic closure- by Idk why?! There is two rows of metal discs....if the bag is fuller, you use the one closer to the top of the flat - and its stays shut very securely. I also tested out the clips to hook this bag to our stroller. We have a Graco snugride infant seat/stroller travel system. Hooking this to the stroller was so easy, and still does not get in the way of the handle bar. I absolutely love this feature! Also, the should strap has a very nice and comfortable pad on it and the strap is adjustable. The material the bag is made out of seems very durable and of much better quality then cheaper/other bags out there. Oh, and the bag includes a changing pad that folds up/and velcros shut. Overall, I am absolutely THRILLED with this purchase. I looked here on amazon for what seemed like hours before finally choosing a bag and I am very, very happy with it. I'm already very happy with this and have not even really used it yet. I will def. be recommending this bag/company to others.

This bag is so cute & stylish. I just love this bag. My son is only 16 months old and I have already gone thru 4 diaper bags, this is my 5th one. So far it has been very durable (I mean it is jean material) it has lots of pockets for baby and your things. I can fit about 4 diapers, wipes, 2 or 3 changes of clothes, snacks, a blanket, & burp rag + a couple of small toys in this bag. And then of course you can put 2 bottles/sippy cups in the out side pockets. And with all that I can still fit my wallet & keys in the bag too. I also love it because I can take it anywhere and I'm not embarrassed by the way it looks. It's not cheesy looking, and it's not stale looking either. I would totally recommend this bag. I only wish they had such cute bags when I had my other kids ;)

The perfect diaper bag for bugaboo stroller owners,

I love this diaper bag for its capability to being attached to the stroller's frame. I also own a OiOi bag, which is much bigger than skiphop. However, I prefer this bag any day. I don't generally carry a lot of stuff in it anyway. The wave dot pattern is very stylish; the fabric is durable and easy to take care of. If you are looking to haul half of your nursery in a diaper bag, then this bag is not for you.

Giant bag, tiny capacity. Not for cloth diapering parents, or city dwellers.,

I wanted to like this bag, but it's just not happening. It's a big bag, get yet relatively small capacity and it's just not enough if you cloth diaper. It might work for someone who breastfeeds exclusively and uses disposable diapers (I say this because disposable diapers are pretty compact, and I imagine that there would be no room for bottles, formula etc) but once the baby starts eating solids and being interested in toys/distractions, this bag isn't going to cut it. It would be one thing if the bag were actually small, but it's not! It's a big old bag! The only positive about this bag, is the ability to clip onto the stroller, but even that feature isn't quite as convenient or as helpful as I thought it would be. I like the messenger bag style that allows you to access the bag with just one hand, (no zipper) but this also means that anyone else can get in there pretty easily too. Because of this, it's not a great bag to carry in a city or urban environment like train stations etc. Also- if you bag is at max capacity (which it will be almost 100% of the time since the capacity is so limited), the magnets don't do the trick of keeping the flap closed. It's just plain annoying to have a bag that won't stay shut. My last complaint is that the shoulder strap pad on my bag, which is 7 month old, is starting to fall apart at its seams. Not a huge issue since the actual strap pad is pretty useless anyway, but disappointing nonetheless. I've replaced this bag with a lovely suede tote that is more stylish, more functional and just more enjoyable to carry. It's not a "diaper bag" per say, but I have learned from my experience with the Skip Hop Dash Deluxe that "diaper bags" are kind of just a gimmick anyway. Save your money for your own lovely non-diaper-bag diaper bag!
