These colorful little bowls are perfect for starting solid feeding. They are small and simple and fit nicely in your hand. I'm using them on their own (not as part of the Skip Hop Palette Plate set) and find that they are perfect for warming and mixing the smaller size portions (1-2 oz) I'm currently feeding my daughter.

It was also important to me that the bowls I use for her are BPA/phthalate free and these are.

*Update: I'm recently finding that these bowls are also perfect for toting around small snacks (and meals, too) for my daughter while we're out and about. The lids snap on tightly and have never leaked. I continue to love using these bowls.

We got these bowls when we started our son on solids. These bowls are the small enough that they don't take up a lot of room in a diaper bag but also large enough that you can put a perfect portion of dry rice cereal in them. The lid closes absolutely shut and all you have to do is add water when your baby is ready to eat. We also use it to put puffs in. These lids are tight enough that it keeps puffs from getting soggy.

Our son absolutely loves these bowls because he associates them with getting his puffs. They also have actually become a backup toy when he gets a little bored or cranky while being out. All in all, we recommend these to any parent starting their baby on solid food. These bowls are a must have for any diaper bag.

Very good set, but only great for babies under 8-9 months, size a bit small for bigger infants and toddlers, as they start to eat bigger meals.

I need more of these! They are perfectly portioned to store baby food in the fridge or diaper bag. I make my own food and store it in these and store snacks in them when we're on the go. I love them!

We used these for a long time with my son. They're a good size for one serving of baby food. As he got a little older, they were a good size to give him so he could practice with a spoon. They do slide around a little on a regular tray, if you don't have the fancy Palette plate. They don't leak much.

I really like these bowls. The lids are so tight, it doesn't even leek when i put water in it. It's a little too small for baby food but it's perfect for holding snacks.

We love these little bowls. They were great for storing and feeding rice cereal and baby food when our little guy was tiny. Now they work great for snacks and lunch items. Lids stay on well, too.

We never used this with the Skip Hop Palette Plate, just to hold food/snacks and feed our daughter.

I really loved this bowls. They are the perfect size for first feedings. We never had a problem with the lids. Easy to clean and BPA free.

And, it doesn't hurt that they are pretty cute.

good size for 4-7 months, but now my daughter is almost 8 months old and she can eat more than what can hold in one of these bowls. Lids fit well onto bowls. great for traveling.

I'm a big fan of skiphop products and was looking for some small bowls that had lids, so I could use them at home or on the go.

The bowls are smaller than I expected, but serviceable for 2 oz of baby food. They've gone through the top rack of the dishwasher with no problem. The tops are VERY difficult to get off -- lots of prying involved.

They do their job and are cute, but the too-tight lids are frustrating and overall, they seem overpriced for what they actually are.

Updated: 6 months post-purchase and I've only used these a few times. Currently, they're just taking up cabinet space.
