Color: Pewter Dot
I spent several months deciding which diaper bag to choose. I looked at dozens of bags, read hundreds of reviews... It was a huge decision for me. I wanted a bag with a lot of pockets, something large enough to fit everything I'd need for my baby as well as my own things, and I'd never had a baby before so I didn't really know what to expect.

A huge factor in deciding on this bag was that it looked like a purse. I planned to use it exclusively for several years, so I didn't want something that had cartoon characters on it or that was in bright baby colors. I chose the Pewter Dot color, after much debate. I almost went with charcoal, but I'm glad I didn't. The pewter color is perfect. It hides milk stains that a darker color wouldn't.

The pockets inside are perfect. It has 2 large pockets on each side. I use one side for my stuff and one side for baby stuff. In one pocket I hold my wallet and cell phone, and in another I hold my makeup items and a small pack of tissues. On the baby side I use one pocket to hold 6 diapers and one pocket to hold several small packs of wipes. On either end there are bottle pockets. i don't use these for bottles most of the time. I put baby powder in one and in the other I have a tube of diaper rash ointment for her and a tube of hand lotion for me. There's a zippered interior pocket that is hidden under the zipper, I often forget it's there. I use that one to hold sensitive things like bank deposits. I don't think anyone would know the pocket existed if they were trying to steal something from my bag.

The outer pockets have pros and cons. The small pockets on the front of the bag are awesome. I use the lower pocket to hold pens and a small notebook.

Love it! After my sister saw my black bag, she went out and bought the silver one and I like hers even more. I have NO complaints with this bag. I have 6 kids in 6 years, my youngest two are twins. I can stuff 4 bottles plus 4 zippy cups, plus diapers for 3 kids in diapers, wipes, toys, my wallet. What I like most is that it's not very big! I hate carrying around big bags even with so many kids. I love how organized the bag is because I'm very organized. I don't know why people are complaining about their bags falling apart, maybe they are washing them or throwing them on the ground. My bag still looks brand new and I've used it everyday for over a year.

I love the easy access pockets and as another revewier mentioned, they are placed in intuitive locations. The two end pockets are insulated and easy to use, and the interior makes it simple to stay organized. The stroller clips are quite nice- heavy duty metal clips with webbing straps. The front two pockets are plenty big enough for my wallet, cell phone, a lipgloss and one or two other 'mommy' things. And the blanket strap is unique, I have used it for spit-up rags, blankets, and occasionally hang my keys there.

I loved the sateen fabric when it arrived. It was silky, and very posh looking. However, within just a few days I could see wear and tear from simply running to the store. I ordered this in the Champagne color, so it might not be as noticeable on the darker chocolate or black. Water marks, especially (from tossing in bottles or grabbing wipes) were the first ones to show. Now it's kind of dingy, and I've only had it about 2 months.

After about 2 weeks, the fabric on one corner along the seam started to fray. I suspect the fabric where it's sewn inside the piping and straps isn't heat sealed- and the silkiness causes it to simply pull through the stitches at stress points.

It's not very tough, either. While walking out of church I bumped it into a brick wall and it looked like I'd taken a cheese grater to the fabric there.

I'm still using the bag, despite its deteriorating appearance. I love staying organized and having room enough for everything- formula dispenser, 9 oz bottle, diapers, wipes, extra shirt, baby food, changing mat, a few small toys, bib, burp cloth, wallet, cell phone, a small cosmetic pouch, an extra pacifier. I'll probably use it till it falls apart, but when that will be remains to be seen.

After ordering and evaluating 5 different bags, this is the one! I have 2 school-age kids with lots of activities to keep up with, a 4 year old and a new baby. I wanted to find a diaper bag that looked a little more classy and purse-like, and held plenty of gear in an organized manner, as well as holding a few items for myself so I can ditch the additional purse. The fabric on this bag is beautiful. I was afraid it would be very light and therefore show dirt easily, but it is darker than it appears on the website, but still very attractive. There is faux-leather reinforcement on the bottom, along with metal feet. I first ordered this bag in indigo dot and was really turned off by the blue faux-leather straps and trim, they just looked so cheap and plastic-like. I saw the bag in black dot in a store and it was no better. However, in pewter dot, the same straps and trim in the metallic grey color don't look bad at all! As other reviewers have said repeatedly, the bag has lots of good-sized and useful pockets, including 6 open pockets and one zippered pocket inside the main compartment and two large bottle pockets, two zippered pockets on the front and one open/magnetic pocket and a medium sized zippered antimicrobial pocket on the back. I was able to put all my diaper bag necessities including an aden and anais swaddle blanket and baby k'tan wrap, my wallet and several essentials from my purse into the bag in a way that I can find anything quickly, and there is still plenty of room for extra items if needed.

Addendum: one month later
I am still loving the bag and have had several compliments on it.
