I bought this for our soon to be born child (I know, way too early for this toy but bear with me).
I was chasing our cats and dogs around with it at a moderate pace (this thing is hilarious)! When I got done I picked it up to take a look at it and one of the rubber bands had come off of the wheels. The construction, I believe, to be quite solid surprisingly. And if memory serves, the rubber band can't actually come free from the owl itself (and pose a choking risk), but be aware that this may be an issue. Not a deal breaker, but something to think about.

Edit: the two front wheel rubber bands cannot come loose from the owl unless they break. The two rear wheels CAN and the rubber bands could pose an issue. You may be able to get the same functionality without the rear rubber bands.

OMG, this little owl is so cute! Gave it to my 18m old niece for Christmas and she loved it :) All of us got a kick out of watching her giggle as she pulled it around. The head did pop off that night but we just super glued it back on. I still give this product 5 stars for sheer cuteness.

The string between the wing and the wheel gets twisted and then it stops moving/flapping. Wish it would have worked better because my daughter loves it but I don't think it will be around very long. I'm constantly unwinding the sides and it's not very easy to do.

Do not buy. Fell apart in minutes. Didn't work properly. Poorly crafted.

I had high hopes for it, but it was a complete waste.

This toy is imbalanced and is hard to pull. It drops to the side when pulled. It is impractical. Would not recommend it.

The wheels tend to lock up when being pulled. After investigating the issue, we found out that it was the knots of the string at the wheel that was too big. The big knot gets stuck when the wheels turned, making it lock up.

We had to try to trim the knot down, but still make sure the knot was secure. This was a pretty hard task. You need scissors small enough and sharp enough to reach in the area to trim the knot. If you accidentally trim too much, the knot becomes undone...

Once we meticulously operated on it... the toy worked just fine.

The owl is a cute toy. Unfortunately, shortly after it started getting pulled around the head came off. The rope is attached at the point were it is glued to the rest of the toy so I fear that this owls head will be hard to keep attached.

We love the look of this!! It really capture the attention of our little one and he wants to pull it around the house. The problem with it; It is terribly off balance and as soon as he goes to pull, it flips over on its side or face and he is dragging it around. It is very unfortunate because it IS really cute. We are trying to figure out a way to 'weight' the bottom of it somehow, before he grows out of playing with it. My guess is that it will just end up being decorative on the shelf in his room.

Its such a cute idea and I was so looking forward to getting this toy for my future little one but sadly when I got it the thing did not work. The wings did not go up and down like it shows in the video and the wheels did not spin when you pulled it. In fact when you pulled the toy it just dragged on the floor with the wheels not moving. So disappointed and upset this didn't work out I was really looking forward to it.

Gave it to my child for her birthday and the wheels wouldn't spin because of the knots from the thread Skip Hop used to hold the whole thing together weren't small enough to pass through where the knot and the body of the owl meet. I tried to pull it myself and after only a few tries, the head/body of the owl popped off! So embarrassing for this to happen during a birthday party!!! Apparently, the head/body is only held to the rest of the toy by glue, which is ridiculous since that's the part that the rope for pulling is attached to! What a terrible product to put out.
