Jungle Cruisin' with Weird Al,

This song, one of Al's originals, is a bit of a departure for him because the comedy here isn't broad and goofy, it's bittersweet in a way that will ring true for theater majors everywhere. The music is poppy and joyful, perfectly crafted and buoyantly played to stick in your head long after you've heard it. Maybe this song's not for everyone (it helps if you know who Uta Hagen and Annie Leibovitz are) but it's a fine piece of work. And the deceptively simple animated video that accompanies it is charming.

Skipper Dan is a great song. Whenever I hear Weird Al's songs it puts a smile on my face, knowing life doesn't always have to be serious.
