This book was very very pleasureable...to my...heart. I love all the fantasizing about what you can do when you have a day off. Yee-haw. Go girl. Skipping school rocked my world.

This review is from: Skipping School (Paperback)
Delightfully written by Sherry Salant and charmingly illustrated by Tony Comparato, Skipping School is a colorful, funny, very original picturebook about a young woman who dreams of skipping school when the alarm clock wakes her up. She fantasizes about all the things she could do while taking a day off, from watching TV to cooking to playing sports, but in the end she has to go - because she's the teacher! A delightfully silly read-aloud book, illustrated with goofy but loveable caricatures in full color, Skipping School is very highly recommended for young readers -- and their teachers!
