The polyester and spandex Happy Girl is Skirt Sports's longest skirt, a versatile and popular number that works well in a variety of sports. It offers a curvy, flattering waistband and yoke panels, with built-in semi-compression liner shorts with a seven-inch inseam that won't creep up or chafe. It's made of lightweight micro polyester fibers that provide excellent breathability and moisture management, and the skirt is machine washable. There's a small pocket on each leg to hold small essentials, and a five-inch zippered pocket at the lower right back for additional items. This feminine skirt is both functional and sophisticated, and measures 16.5 inches long in front and 17.5 inches in the back, making it an ideal length for golf, tennis, or just running around town.
The compression short liner has a small pocket on each leg, ideal for keys, energy chews, and other small essentials.
About Skirt Sports
"When you look good, you feel good. And when you feel good, you perform better."
This principle has guided Nicole DeBoom since she was on a training run in 2003, and decided women shouldn't have to sacrifice femininity for performance. Nicole soon created the first ever women's fitness skirt, turning heads as she raced to victory in the 2004 Ironman Wisconsin in her hand-sewn prototype, pioneering a new product category and giving birth to Skirt Sports.
Skirt Sports has grown into one of the leading women's fitness apparel brands, with a full collection of styles, from the market's first running skirts and dresses to performance tops, bottoms, outerwear, and accessories sold in more than 650 specialty retail stores throughout the U.S., Canada, and Australia. In 2007, DeBoom helped launch the fun, flirty Skirt Chaser 5K race series, and in 2011 created Kick Start, the first online running mentorship program that empowers seasoned runners with tools to help other women who want to become healthier through running.
Whether you're into running, walking, hiking, cycling, doing yoga, playing golf or tennis, and everything in between, Skirt Sports has you covered with fashionable fitness wear designed by women, for women.
The longest running skirt in our lineup, the Happy Girl Skirt offers more coverage, without compromising its femininity. It features built-in semi-compression shorties (7" inseam), and three pockets. This skirt is functional and sophisticated. Measuring 16.5" in the front and 17.5" in the back, the Happy Girl Skirt is perfect for golf or just running around town.
