The price for this product is the winning attribute. The case fits snug but not as fitted as a speck product due probably to the thinness of the case material. Most likely will protect my flip from average height falls/drops. The screen/button side is fairly vulnerable which was slightly surprising, but it wasn't shown so I should have inquired more. The opening for the usb, usb switch, stand, and lens are great, and there is a raised portion to the case to help access the on/off button. The cutouts for the mic/speakers is a different matter. The opening is roughly the size of one of the squares on the case, which means most of the speaker is covered. For all purposes it might make just a small difference in sound quality but something to point out. The 'speaker' holes to the left of the lens (when looking at the lens) is completely covered, but since I am not sure if they are functional I don't know if it affects recordings. However, there wasn't a great selection of Flip MinoHD specific cases found on Amazon and based on looks, since there weren't many if any reviews, I chose this to be the best.
