If you ahven't picked up this Cd single because you think you already got this title track on ECHO IMAGE album, think again !! This MCD not only contains some of the greatest remixes of "SKULK" but also you get the remix of "NEVERENDING STORY" (the remix of old song by LIMAHL). Wow, this remix is totally fresh & contagious. I can't stop listening to this MCD. Anyway, get this one for sure!! As a matter of fact, get all the other ECHO IMAGE's CD Singles out there ("STANDING ALONE" and "NEED TO BE PROUD"). You won't be disappointed. Peace !!

Welcome supplement to the album,

A very interesting set of mixes of one of the better tracks on Echo Image's excellent debut album "Compuphonic".The first track is the album version, to give an idea of what the standard version is. The second has a greater preponderance of bass by comparison. The fourth and fifth each take particular vocal components from the original and develop them in isolation: in particular, the counterpoint between the male and femal vocals is brilliant in these mixes while far from obvious in the original. The third track is a well-considered version of "The Never Ending Story" - the fact that Echo Image would even think of recording this song at all only adds to their credit and reveals one of the sources of their inspiration. Well worth getting, both for the remixes in and of themselves, and for the greater understanding of Compuphonic which they impart.
