I purchased many of these for friends as a take away gift, and my kids used them when they went trick or treating. When I ordered the bags, I was really worried about the durability and quality. They turned out to be better than what I expected. It's a cloth bag, not as strong as a canvas bag, but much better than plastic. The bag held up during the 2 1/2 hours of trick or treating for my kids. And I saved it for next year too! It held all the kids' treats for the night and they could sling it over their shoulder (the handle was long enough).
