Summary: The Skullcrusher line of headphones is one of Skullcandy's more popular lines and there is a reason for that. There is nothing else out there that will be able to put out as much bass as these without an external amplifier. Now too much can be a bad thing but luckily the built-in amplifier is fully adjustable. They are very comfotable, I can wear them for 8 hours+ and I barely notice they are there.

Pros: Bass strength is second to none. Bass and treble quality is good for stereophones. Strong 1.5m (5ft) cord. Great build quality and comfort. Package includes a 1/4" adapter, airline adapter, and a drawstring travel bag to hold it all. Great price. Lifetime warranty! (Requires registration but who cares, I'll say it again, lifetime warranty!) I love them for gaming. They are fully collapsible and well padded. I can wear for 8 hours+ no problem. They won't fall off of my big head and shouldn't on smaller heads either.

Cons: Mids can be a bit muddled especially with higher bass songs/games. The built in amp requires a single AA battery. The bass adjustment is a little sensitive at times. Some songs will sound bright (mostly classical music). The bag is a little small, I kinda have to work the phones into them. Plastic is fragile but earpieces are strong. Battery life with recharables stinks and disposable alkaline batteries almost have too much punch. They aren't vented so expect some ear sweat if it's hot out.

Comments: The way they get all there bass there are actually 2 30mm drivers. One for treble and upper mids, one 100Hz driver for bass and lower mids. The design does come at a price. These are only stereophones, so they don't have any surround support and can only put out so many sounds at once. So if your are listening to a huge symphony of sound there may be some loss but that will be the case with any phones, in this price range.

UPDATE!!! 11/5 I recently had to return my phones after just a couple months of use as the cable at the connector got loose and sound cut in and out. I mailed them the headphones Monday, they arrived at their warehouse on Wed, and they just shipped me new ones FRIDAY!!! That is FAST. 2 day replacement is insanely good. I am literally freaking out. I think they have a lifetime customer.

these are my second pair of skullcandy earphones. i must admit that the sound quality on these earphones are superb, unfortunately on the other hand its built is not as complementing. These earphones are non-durable and are easily destroyed/damaged by the slightest blow. My first pair broke while opening them to put over my ear "material is very fragile", the second pair got damaged a little over 2 weeks. I was entering my home, opened the door and walked in. the earphone wire got hooked into the door handle and from then the right side of the earphone refuse to play..If you are a music lover like me then skullcandy definitely produces quality sound but its longevity and sustainability is what should give you second thoughts..

These headphones are awesome. VERY good bass, light, comfortable, fold up for easy travel, GOOD PRICE! If you are looking for headphones, dont. Just get these!

picked these up for cheap and the left speaker blew out from too much bass 3 months later. still havent received a reply on the warranty from skullcandy

These are hands down the best head phones that i have ever owned. Ive owned headphones from dr.dre beats to bose. And (in my own opinion) these are tha best so far.
I love these because they are a great headphone to snowboard with. They are bretty much noise canceling and they have such good bass that i shredded better than i ever have before with these beasts. A MUST BUY FOR ANYONE THAT LIKES MUSIC and bass. Dont reccomend these if you listen to rock or speed metal tho...

BUY THEM NOW* or suffer bass-less music for another season :D

The Bass is GREAT!! A good battery like Duracell will last you about a month. They aren't that loud but they hit hard. They make a rattling noise when the battery is low but they stil are great. Once you listen to these you'll throw away any average earbuds

I've always gotten acoustic earbuds because I never thought the quality of over-the-head earphones were up to par; sound and quality wise. I decided to buy these because of a friends recommendation. I got these for half off and upon listening to them for the first time, I would have paid the full price. The sound is absolutely amazing. I am a soundaholic and get irritated with minor offsets in headphones. The bass is what drove me to these little guys, as well as the ability to fold them up for storage. If you are looking for a set of headphones that sound superb, fit over large heads and ears without fuss, bass as well as a control knob for it, fairly lengthy cable, and comfort, I would definitely recommend buying Skullcrushers.

These headphones are awesome. even though they are a christmas gift and i havent opened them yet, i have throughly inspected the box and the product and there is no problem with it. they are the same headphones as the $60 ones and i know they are going to sound the same. I went with this color cause they are the same headphones as the "black pinstripes" version, just with a different color and a dramitically lower price. I simply cannot wait to open them and spend all day with them. Happy listening!

These headphones were a disappointment's on all levels. First of all, they are extremely uncomfortable if you wear them for long amounts of time. Secondly, I bought these as a replacement to a pair of Panasonic RP-DJ600 which cost half the price, but they ended up having much better sound quality. Third, I wear my headphones around school and the cups on these are just way to big and I end up getting my chin stuck between them >.< These may look nice but I assure you they are not worth the price. I discourage buying these unless you have headphones for a more aesthetic purpose.
